<text>Intense physical exercise can increase lactic acid levels in the blood as a result of the anaerobic metabolism
that occurs at that time. The impact of increased levels of lactic acid includes the occurrence of acidosis,
damage to body cells, and fatigue which reduces muscle performance. Antioxidants can play a role in
preventing body fatigue caused by oxidative stress. Onion Dayak (Eleutherine palmifolia) is a type of
medicinal plant that is useful for health. The high content of antioxidants in Dayak onions can be used as an
alternative anti-fatigue ingredient. This study aimed to look at the effect of the dose and duration of Dayak
onion extract on lactic acid levels and physical activity in mice forced swimming test models. Type of
Research Randomized Pre and Post-Test Control Group Design. Male White Mice (Sprague Dawley) 2
months old (weight 150-200g). Divided into 5 groups K- (the experimental group was not given Dayak
onion extract, they were still given FST), K+ (the experimental group was given xanthine and FST), P1
(given Dayak onion extract at a dose of 50mg/200gBW), P2 (given the extract onion Dayak dose of
100mg/200gBB), P3 (given onion extract dose of 200mg/200gBW). Dayak onion extract was given for 28
days and given the forced swimming test, then the changes in lactic acid and physical activity endurance in
swimming were observed.</text>

knowledge and community preparedness for flood disaster in Sempaja Timur Village, Samarinda City.
Method: This study uses a cross-sectional approach with a total sample of 155 households in in the East
Sempaja Village, Samarinda City, selected through an technique was multistage random sampling. Data
were analysed in Somer's test. Results: Respondents with a level of knowledge in the moderate category as
much as 63.9%. Respondents who have a level of preparedness for floods with a very prepared category are
98.7%. Conclusion: There was a significant correlation between knowledge and community preparedness

is to describe the Village Community's Knowledge about Diabetes Militus. Research Methods using
descriptive method. The research sample consisted of 90 respondents who were randomly selected from
village communities in the study area. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire containing
questions related to knowledge about diabetes mellitus, risk factors for symptoms and management related
to diabetes mellitus. The results showed that most of the respondents had low knowledge about diabetes
mellitus, namely 41 respondents (45.6%). Only 10 respondents (11.1%) knew about diabetes mellitus, risk
factors for symptoms and management related to diabetes mellitus. Conclusion: Village community
knowledge about diabetes mellitus is still low. Therefore, education efforts and more effective health
campaigns are needed to increase village community knowledge about diabetes mellitus, including risk
factors, symptoms, and management. This is expected to encourage rural communities to be more aware of

<text>Vulva hygiene is an individual effort to maintain the cleanliness of the private area which all women should
do. But not all women, especially young women are able to do it properly and correctly. The prevalence of
leucorrhoea management in adolescents in Islamic boarding schools shows that 51.3% of students do not
manage it properly. One effort to increase knowledge and change adolescent behavior is by providing health
education using the gallery walk method. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of vulva
hygiene health education using The gallery Walk method on the ability to treatment of leucorrhoea In
boarding schools. this research is a quasi-experimental design type of One Group Pre-Post Test Design
Without Control Group, the population is 52 respondents with a total sampling technique. Results: the
research shows that the age characteristics of the majority of respondents are 16 years old and the majority
are from class X (46.2%). After conducting health education using the gallery walk method, knowledge
increased (9.5%), attitudes increased (100%), and abilities increased (96.2%). The results of statistical tests
using Chi Square showed that there was an influence of vulva hygiene health education using the gallery
walk method on the ability to manage leucorrhoea at the Darul Muqorrobin Islamic Boarding School with a
probability value of 0.05.</text>

hypertension such as heart disease, kidney failure and stroke. Efforts that can be made to lower blood
pressure with non-pharmacological therapy are walking because it can control blood pressure. This study
aims to determine the effect of walking on pressure reduction in hypertensive patients. Methods: The
research design uses a Quasi Experiment with a Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design approach. The
number of samples was 68 consisting of 34 control groups and 34 walking intervention groups taken by
consecutive sampling. The instruments used were observation sheets, calibrated sphygmomanometers,
stopwatches, and standard operating procedures (SOP) for walking. Data analysis used Wilcoxon test and
Mann-Whitny test. Results:Results of Mann-Whitny test analysisshows that there is an effect of walking on
systolic and diastolic blood pressure with valueρvalue< 0.05. Discussion: It is hoped that people with
hypertension can practice walking because walking has a positive effect on the body to help smooth blood
flow throughout the body and increase the elasticity of blood vessels so that the heart works more effectively
and blood pressure decreases to near normal.</text>
