Traditionally this plant was used as a tonic. Objective : The purpose of this study was to prove the tonic activity of bidara leaf extract against white male mice (Mus musculus) and to determine the effective concentration of bidara leaf extract which has tonic activity against swimming resistance white male mice (Mus musculus). Method :This research was conducted in February - August 2019 at the Pharmacy Laboratory of the Kendal College of Health Sciences. The tools and materials used are mice, bidara leaves, ethanol, glassware, sonde and glass ponds.Leaf extraction of bidara was carried out by maceration method using 70% ethanol solvent. The design of this study was an experimental study (pre-experimental desings) in the form of statistical group comparisons. The tonic effect test was carried out using the mice swimming endurance method. Twenty five white malemice were divided into five groups. Group I mice were given 0.5% CMC Na (negative control), group II were given Fatigon (positive control) and groups III, IV, V were given bidara leaf extract concentrations of 50, 100 and 200 mg / kgBW orally. Data analysis was performed by comparing swimming times using the Kruskal-Wallis test and the Mann-Whitney test with a confidence level of 95%. Result : The results showed that there were group differences between treatments.Conclusions : The leaf extract of bidara (Ziziphus mauritiana L.) had tonic activity against white male mice (Mus musculus) with an effective concentration of 100 mg / kgBW. Various factors that are thought to be related to patient sleep quality come from patient and environmental factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect the sleep quality of ICU patients. This research is a quantitative study, using a cross- sectional approach, with as many as 44 patients involved in this study. The research instrument used the observation sheet and The Richards-Campbell Sleep Questionnaire (RCSQ) is also equipped with a thermohygrometer to measure temperature and humidity and a sound level meter to measure noise. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank test, and research ethics was obtained from the Ethics Commission of RSMS Margono. The results showed that most of them were women (75%), aged ≥40 years (68.2%) with the most days of stay less than 4 (93.2%), postoperative (95.5), and with poor sleep quality (72.7%). Factors that affected the sleep quality of the patient are heart rate (0.030), MAP (0.042), patient pain score (0.031), and sleep position (0.002). There was no affecting the SpO2 factor, temperature humidity, noise, patient perceptions of noise, light, and action with p value> 0.05. In conclusion, most of the respondents have poor sleep quality. There is an effect of the heart rate, sleep position, and pain score on the patient's sleep quality. It is necessary to apply a combination of pharmacological management and nursing measures to improve sleep quality. Respondents before being given betel leaf decoction therapy often experienced vaginal discharge so that the respondents felt uncomfortable. After being given betel leaf decoction therapy, the vaginal discharge decreased. This study is proven to be effective in giving betel leaf stew to reduce vaginal discharge. Title A name given to the resource PROSIDING INTERNASIONAL KEPERAWATAN Proceedings of the International Conference on Nursing and Health Sciences Volume 1 No 1, November 2020 ANALYSIS OF FAMILY PREPAREDNESS IN FLOOD DISASTER Subject The topic of the resource disaster; family preparedness; flood Description An account of the resource The family is part of the community, preparedness of disaster must be owned by the family because has an important role namely planning for family rescue in the event of a disaster emergency in determining whether or not ready impending disasters. Flood disasters often cause losses such as home, environment, property, and life. The purpose of this research is to analyze of family preparedness in flood disaster in Kendal Regency. The design of this research is descriptive survey approach. The sample in this study amounted to 157 family heads with proportional random sampling technique. Data collecting with form of a questionnaire with the validity test was in the range 0,468- 0,786 and reliability test was 0,875. The analysis used an univariate. The results showed that the characteristics of family heads based on gender were dominated by male as many as 155 (98.7%), the average age was 40 years old with the youngest age 23 years and the oldest age was 72 years, the majority of high school education was 114 (72.6%) and labor dominated by 62 heads of family (39.5%). Family preparedness to flood disaster, majority was high categories were 103 heads of families (65.6%). The result of this study prove that people in Kendal regency are ready to face flood disaster.
