<text>One of the ongoing technologies which are used by large number of
companies and users is cloud computing environment. This computing
technology has proved that it provides certainly a different level of
efficiency, security, privacy, flexibility and availability to its users. Cloud
computing delivers on demand services to the users by using various
service-based models. All these models work on utility-based computing
such that users pay for their used services. Along with the various
advantages of the cloud computing environment, it has its own limitations and problems such as efficient resource identification or discovery, security, task scheduling, compliance and sustainability. Among these resource identification and scheduling plays an important role because users always submits their jobs and expects responses in least possible time. Research is happening all around the world to optimize the response time, make span so as to reduce the burden on the cloud resources. In this paper, QoS based service ranking model is proposed for cloud computing environment to find the essential top ranked services. Proposed model is implemented in two phases. In the first phase, similarity computation between the users and their services is considered. In the second phase, computing the missing values based on the computed similarity measures is calculated. The efficiency of the proposed ranking is measured and the average precision correlation of the proposed ranking measure is showing better results than the existing measures. </text>

<text>In this article, a free secondary lens is designed for an LED fishing/working lamp (LFWL), which is recommended for the purpose of taking the place of a traditional high-intensity discharge (HID) fishing lamp. To serve the lighting needs of fishing and the on-board activities on fishing boats, the innovative LED lamp is proposed. To make the freeform lens in our optics design process, we depended on Gaussian decomposition. In this way, it is easy to approach the targeted light intensity distribution curve (LIDC) of the LFWL lens. The simulated results show that the performance of the LED fishing/working lamps is much better than that of HID fishing lamps for illumination onboard, on the sea-surface, and underwater. Meanwhile, a lighting efficiency of 91%
with the power consumption reduction of more than 50% can be achieved when the proposed LED fishing/working lamps are used instead of the HID fishing lamps. </text>

<text>In recent years, using full-duplex (FD) transmission model provides
enhanced bandwidth efficiency and improved performance for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system. However, lack of papers
have investigated FD relay together with relay selection issue to improve performance of NOMA system. The problems in power allocation for two NOMA users satisfying fairness as well as relay selection strategy are studied in this paper. By considering the outage performance of proposed scheme with its vital result, general NOMA wireless networks can be developed for future networks due to its improved performance. Simulation results show that the relaying selection scheme can achieve a significant performance improvement by increasing required quantity of relay. </text>

<text>Laser communications hold accurate data rate for ground satellite links.
The laser beam is transmitted through the atmosphere. The clear-air turbulence induces a number of phase distortions that damage wave-front. Adaptive optics (AO) treats wave front correction. The nature of AO systems is iterative; it can be integrated in metaheuristic algorithms such as genetic algorithm (GA). This paper presents improved version of algorithm for wave-front corrections. The improved algorithm is based on genetic algorithm (GA) and adaptive optics approach (OA). It is implemented in a computer simulation model called object-oriented matlab adaptive optics (OOMAO). The optimisation process involves best possible GA parameters as a function of population size, iteration
count, and the actuators’ voltage intervals. Results show that the application of GA improves the performance of AO in wave-front corrections and the communication between satellite-to-ground laser links as well. </text>

<text>This article proposes a closer-to-metal approach of RTL inspection in microprocessor design for use in education, engineering, and research. Signals of interest are tapped throughout the microprocessor hierarchical design and are then output to the top-level entity and finally displayed to a VGA monitor. Input clock signal can be fed as slow as one wish to trace or debug the microprocessor being designed. An FPGA development board, along with its accompanying software package, is used as the design and test platform. The use of VHDL commands ’type’ and ’record’ in the hierarchy provides key ingredients in the overall design, since this allows simple, clean, and tractable code. The method is tested on MIPS single-cycle microprocessor blueprint. The result shows that the technique produces more consistent display of the true contents of registers, ALU input/output signals, and other wires – compared to the standard, widely-used simulation method. This approach is expected to increase confidence in students and designers since the reported signals’ values are the true values. Its use is not limited to the development of microprocessors; every FPGA-based digital design can benefit from it. </text>

<text>Electrical treeing is one of the main reasons for long-term degradation
of high voltage insulation especially in the cable accessory which commonly made from silicone rubber due to non-uniformly structures of the cable accessories. Recently, the combination of nanofillers with the silicone rubber matrix can reduce the possibility of the electrical treeing to grow further by changing its patterns and slow-down its propagation. However, the influences of nanofillers on the tree hindrance and its patterns are not well understood. This paper explores the influence of nanofiller on tree pattern in silicon rubber. The electrical tree patterns were characterized using fractal analysis. The box-counting method was used to measure the fractal dimension and lacunarity to obtain the structure of the tree pattern during the electrical tree growth. The structure of the electrical tree in silicone rubber nanocomposites has higher fractal dimension and lacunarity. Sample with nanofiller possesses dominant fractal dimension of tree growth compared to the sample without nanofiller. </text>

<text>The modern state of electrical system consists the conventional generating units along with the sources of renewable energy. The proposed article recommends a method for the solution of single and multi-objective optimal power flow, integrating wind and solar output energy with traditional coal-based generating stations. In the first part of the article, the two wind power plants and one solar PV power plants are incorporated with the thermal power plants. The optimal power flow problem of single and conflicting multi-objectives are taken with this scenario. The second part of the paper, solar power plant is replaced with another wind power plant with the conventional coal-based power plants. The techno-economic analysis are done with this state of electrical system. In proposed work, lognormal and weibull probability distribution functions are also utilized for predicting solar and wind outputs, respectively. A non-dominated multi-objective moth flame
optimization technique is used for the optimization issue. The fuzzy
decision-making approach is applied for extracting the best compromise
solution. The results are validated though adapted IEEE-30 bus test system, which is incorporated with wind and solar generating plants.</text>

Achieving a high threat detection rate during an inspection of crowds to recognize and detect threat elements from a secure distance is the motivation for the development of intelligent image data analysis from a machine learning perspective. A method proposed to reduce the image dimensions with support vector, linearity and orthogonal. The functionality of CWD is contingent upon the plenary characterization of fusion data from multiple image sensors. The proposed method combines multiple sensors by hybrid fusion of sigmoidal Hadamard wavelet transform and PCA basis functions. <text>This article demonstrates green-emitting phosphor Gd2O2S:Tb3+ and
red-emitting phosphor Y3Al5O12:Cr3+ application in the triple-layer phosphor WLED to enhance optical performance. The arrangement of phosphor layers in the WLED is red phosphor Y3Al5O12:Cr3+ on top, green phosphor Gd2O2S:Tb3+ in the middle, and yellow phosphor YAG:Ce3+ at the bottom. The principal to utilize these phosphor materials is the exploitation of additional red light component and green light component from the green and red phosphor to enrich the color rendering index (CRI) and luminous efficacy. The influences of green phosphor and red phosphor are also estimated with a new quality indicator, the color quality index (CQS). The results show red phosphor Y3Al5O12:Cr3+ enable CRI when its concentration increases while green phosphor exhibits a contrast reaction. Regarding the CQS, the optimal red phosphor concentration for CQS is from 10% to 14%, disregard the concentration in green phosphor. The improvement that applying these two phosphor materials brought comes from limiting the light loss from back-scattering and strengthen chromatic performance through addition red and green light components. These findings can support manufacturers in adapting to modern lighting requirements by improving CRI, CQS and particularly luminous efficiency to more than 40%. </text>
