<text>This paper develops a new customer application protocol (CAP) to improve
the efficiency of transferring data between embedded processor and
microcontroller systems. The established protocol is characterized by its
fidelity and simplicity for using a small header to control and monitor the data
flow between the two systems. This is achieved by constructing an embedded
processor system with an Ethernet intellectual property (IP) core featured by
lightweight IP (lwIP) to settle a connection with a microcontroller device. The
embedded system is configured on spartan6E FPGAs slice. The system
performance is tested by transferring audio samples and displaying them on
chipscope media. The performance test of the designed embedded system with
the developed customer application protocol showed fast, efficient and high
precision data exchange between the processor and microcontroller systems.</text>

government institutions where a huge amount of documents is handled every

the stamp may be on a different background, with different sizes, and suffers
from rotating in different directions, also, the appearance of soft areas
(patches) or small points as noise. Thus, the main objective of this paper is to
extract and recognize the color stamp image. This paper proposed a method to
recognize stamps, by using a technique named Haar wavelet sub-bands. The
devised method has four stages: 1) extracts the stamp image; 2) preprocessing
the image; 3) feature extraction; and 4) matching. This paper is implemented
using C sharp (Microsoft Visual Studio 2012) programming language. The
experiments conducted on a stamp dataset showed that the proposed method
has a great capability to recognize stamps when using Haar wavelet transform
with two sets of features (i.e., 100% recognition rate for energy features and
99.93% recognition rate for low order moment).</text>

<text>In the field of health and medicine, there is a very important term known as
clinical trials. Clinical trials are a type of activity that studies how the safest
way to treat patients is. These clinical trials are usually written in unstructured
free text which requires translation from a computer. The aim of this paper is
to classify the texts of cancer clinical trial documents consisting of
unstructured free texts taken from cancer clinical trial protocols. The proposed
algorithm is conditional random Fields and bigram features. A new
classification model from the cancer clinical trial document text is proposed to
compete with other methods in terms of precision, recall, and f-1 score. The
results of this study are better than the previous results, namely 88.07
precision, 88.05 recall and f-1 score 88.06.</text>

<text>Facing the news on the internet about the spreading of Corona virus disease
2019 (COVID-19) is challenging because it is required a long time to get
valuable information from the news. Deep learning has a significant impact on
NLP research. However, the deep learning models used in several studies,
especially in document summary, still have a deficiency. For example, the
maximum output of long text provides incorrectly. The other results are
redundant, or the characters repeatedly appeared so that the resulting sentences
were less organized, and the recall value obtained was low. This study aims to
summarize using a deep learning model implemented to COVID-19 news
documents. We proposed transformer as base language models with
architectural modification as the basis for designing the model to improve
results significantly in document summarization. We make a
transformer-based architecture model with encoder and decoder that can be
done several times repeatedly and make a comparison of layer modifications
based on scoring. From the resulting experiment used, ROUGE-1 and
ROUGE-2 show the good performance for the proposed model with scores
0.58 and 0.42, respectively, with a training time of 11438 seconds. The model
proposed was evidently effective in improving result performance in
abstractive document summarization.</text>

<text>The rapid expansion in the use of internet of things (IoT) imposes the
importance of developing its infrastructure. One of the most important
components in IoT infrastructures is the wireless sensor networks. The
development of these networks largely depends on how to extend their life. As
one of the effective options adopted in this field is the use of cluster heads
(CHs). This paper introduces an algorithm that efficiently determine the CHs
by iteratively extracting an associative value for each node depending on two
factors; node's residual energy, and geometrical distances between nodes and
base station. In light of the extracted values, the nodes with the best associative
values are elected as CHs based on adjustable threshold determined according
to the network usage requirements. The algorithm has proven a significant
increase in the lifetime of the network, as well as, it has proven its ability to
maintain a high level of energy for long period of time. The proposed
algorithm outperformed similar protocols like low energy adaptive clustering
hierarchy (LEACH) and region based low energy adaptive clustering hierarchy
(R-LEACH) by prolonging the network lifetime and increasing network
stability, as well as enhances the throughput significantly.</text>

<text>The rapid development in communications and sensors technologies make
wireless sensor networks (WSNs) as essential key in several advanced
applications such as internet of things (IoT). The increasing demands on
using WSNs required high quality of services (QoS) because most WSNs
applications have critical requirements. This work aims to offer a routing
protocol to improve the QoS in WSNs, taking in consideration its ability to
prolong the lifetime of the network, optimize the utilization of the limited
bandwidth available, and decrease the latency that accompanies the packets
transmitted to the gateway. The proposed protocol is called overlapped
hierarchical cluster routing protocol (OHCRP). OHCRP is compared with the
traditional routing protocols such as SPEED, and Two-hop velocity-based
routing protocol (THVR). The results show that OHCRP reduces latency
effectively and achieve high energy conservation, which lead to increase the
network lifetime and insure network availability.</text>

<text>Dialogue has been widely used for verbal communication between human
and robot interaction, such as assistant robot in hospital. However, this robot
was usually limited by predetermined dialogue, so it will be difficult to
understand new words for new desired goal. In this paper, we discussed
conversation in Indonesian on entertainment, motivation, emergency, and
helping with knowledge growing method. We provided mp3 audio for music,
fairy tale, comedy request, and motivation. The execution time for this
request was 3.74 ms on average. In emergency situation, patient able to ask
robot to call the nurse. Robot will record complaint of pain and inform nurse.
From 7 emergency reports, all complaints were successfully saved on
database. In helping conversation, robot will walk to pick up belongings of
patient. Once the robot did not understand with patient’s conversation, robot
will ask until it understands. From asking conversation, knowledge expands
from 2 to 10, with learning execution from 1405 ms to 3490 ms. SARSA was
faster towards steady state because of higher cumulative rewards. Q-learning
and SARSA were achieved desired object within 200 episodes. It concludes
that reinforcement learning (RL) method to overcome robot knowledge
limitation in achieving new dialogue goal for patient assistant were achieved.</text>

<text>In the big data age, extracting applicable information using traditional machine
learning methodology is very challenging. This problem emerges from the
restricted design of existing traditional machine learning algorithms, which do
not entirely support large datasets and distributed processing. The large

volume of data nowadays demands an efficient method of building machine-
learning classifiers to classify big data. New research is proposed to solve

problems by converting traditional machine learning classification into a
parallel capable. Apache Spark is recommended as the primary data processing
framework for the research activities. The dataset used in this research is
related to the telco trouble ticket, identified as one of the large volume datasets.
The study aims to solve the data classification problem in a single machine
using traditional classifiers such as W-J48. The proposed solution is to enable
a conventional classifier to execute the classification method using big data
platforms such as Hadoop. This study’s significant contribution is the output
matrix evaluation, such as accuracy and computational time taken from both
ways resulting from hyper-parameter tuning and improvement of W-J48
classification accuracy for the telco trouble ticket dataset. Additional
optimization and estimation techniques have been incorporated into the study,
such as grid search and cross-validation method, which significantly improves
classification accuracy by 22.62% and reduces the classification time by
21.1% in parallel execution inside the big data environment.</text>
