<text>Feature descriptor and similarity measures are the two core components in
content-based image retrieval and crucial issues due to “semantic gap”
between human conceptual meaning and a machine low-level feature.
Recently, deep learning techniques have shown a great interest in image
recognition especially in extracting features information about the images. In
this paper, we investigated, compared, and evaluated different deep
convolutional neural networks and their applications for image classification
and automatic image retrieval. The approaches are: simple convolutional
neural network, AlexNet, GoogleNet, ResNet-50, Vgg-16, and Vgg-19. We
compared the performance of the different approaches to prior works in this
domain by using known accuracy metrics and analyzed the differences
between the approaches. The performances of these approaches are
investigated using public image datasets corel 1K, corel 10K, and Caltech 256.
Hence, we deduced that GoogleNet approach yields the best overall results. In
addition, we investigated and compared different similarity measures. Based
on exhausted mentioned investigations, we developed a novel algorithm for
image retrieval.</text>

<text>Strategies for the procurement of goods and services are essential for
companies in Indonesia's manufacturing and logistics sectors. The solution to
reducing the existing problem is to make a mapping plan, such as verifying
documents from each department, so that it takes a long time, resulting in many
issues, such as procedural misuse findings. Heuristics miner algorithms get
data to form logs that consist of goods and services procurement activities.
Processing log data into XML data (data extraction), which produces a
dependency model and business and casual matrix (discovery process), then
determines the value of fitness and precision (suitability) called the conformity
checking phase process. This phase aims to produce a new business (process
enhancement phase), which will create a solution to the risk of delay and
procedural abuse. The results of each of these processes rank each stage of the

procurement of goods and services sequentially and together to provide time-
efficient and accurate decisions, resulting in project implementation

comparable to the company's business strategy. Implement the heuristics

ranging (LiDAR) technology, especially in Indonesia. The purpose of this
study is to build a biomass estimation model based on LiDAR data. This
technology can obtain information about the structure and characteristics of
any vegetation in detail and in real time. Data was obtained from the East
Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan. Biomass field was generated
from the available allometry, and Point cloud of LiDAR was extracted into
canopy cover (CC), and data on tree height, using the FRCI and local maxima
(LM) method, respectively. The CC and tree height data were then used as
independent variables in building the regression model. The best-fitted model
was obtained after the scoring and ranking of several regression forms such as
linear, quadratic, power, exponential and logarithmic. This research concluded
that the quadratic regression model, with R2 of 72.16% and root mean square
error (RMSE) of 0.0003% is the best-fitted estimation model (BK). Finally,
the biomass value from the models was 244.510 tons/ha.</text>

Estimation of term significance is a basic piece of most information retrieval
approaches and it is commonly chosen through term frequency-inverse

retrieve information in web documents. This paper presents comparison of
TF-IDF method and improved TF-IDF method for information retrieval.
Cosine similarity method calculated on both methods. The results of cosine

<text>Electric energy consumption in a residential household is one of the key factors
that affect the overall national electricity demand. Household appliances are
one of the most electricity consumers in a residential household. Therefore, it
is crucial to make a proper prediction for the electricity consumption of these

analysis (PCA) was implemented as a feature extractor by reducing the final
62 features to 25 principal components for the LSTM inputs. Based on the
experiments, the two-layered LSTM model (composed by 25 and 20 neurons
for the first and second later respectively) with lookback number of 3 found to
give the best performance with the error rates of 62.013 and 26.982 for root

<text>When mentioning the remote phosphor structure, the most noticeable
advantage is its higher luminous flux than any other structure’s. However,
there are existing flaws in their color uniformity and color rendering index
(CRI). Thus, the improvements in these two optic factors must be improved
for the better usage of remote phosphor geometry in modern WLED devices.
Many researchers have drawn their attention to this idea, and then it has
become the primary objective for their studies. In this paper, we also try to
accomplish the same result by adjusting the distances between the phosphor

layers and through that enhance the optical properties of WLEDs. The mie-
scattering theory is applied in our calculations to ensure the reliability and

accuracy of experimental results. In our research, with distance d=0.64 mm,
the luminous flux grew 9.7% in comparison to the original value. At 0.84
mm, the distance d enhanced the color uniformity by two times. In the
meantime, the CRI remained static during the course of experiment. With
suitable application, these results can bring valuable contributions to the
development of next WELDs generation.</text>

<text>The objective of this paper is to improve the voltage profile of the grid in
pertinence to grid due to power injection from distributed solar photovoltaic
(PV) arrays. Weak grids are modeled as worldwide adaptation of net metering,
transactive energy systems, and the possibility of further deterioration of
power quality with higher grid penetration. In this paper, a solar PV integrated
weak distribution grid modelled as the PV arrays being frequently connected
in rural areas, due to various reasons like cheap real estate and lack of
accessibility. In this paper, three case studies of PV generation are simulated,
i.e., scheduled solar PV generation less than load requirement, PV generation
equal to load requirement, and PV generation more than load requirement, by
considering the daily solar irradiation and load demand profiles of a residential
area under study.</text>

<text>In this work, the antlion optimization (ALO) is employed due to its
efficiency and wide applicability to estimate the parameters of four modified
models of the basic constructive cost model (COCOMO) model. Three tests
are carried out to show the effectiveness of ALO: first, it is used with Bailey
and Basili dataset for the basic COCOMO Model and Sheta’s Model 1 and 2,
and is compared with the firefly algorithm (FA), genetic algorithms (GA),
and particle swarm optimization (PSO). Second, parameters of Sheta’s
Model 1 and 2, Uysal’s Model 1 and 2 are optimized using Bailey and Basili
dataset; results are compared with directed artificial bee colony algorithm
(DABCA), GA, and simulated annealing (SA). Third, ALO is used with
Basic COCOMO model and four large datasets, results are compared with
hybrid bat inspired gravitational search algorithm (hBATGSA), improved
BAT (IBAT), and BAT algorithms. Results of Test1 and Test2 show that
ALO outperformed others, as for Test3, ALO is better than BAT and IBAT
using MAE and the number of best estimations. ALO proofed achieving
better results than hBATGSA for datasets 2 and 4 out of the four datasets
explored in terms of MAE and the number of best estimates.</text>

<text>Though combining blue LED chips with yellow phosphor has been the most
common method in white light-emitting diode (WLED) production, the
attained angular correlated color temperature (CCT) uniformity is still poor.
Thus, this article proposes to add ZnO nanostructures to WLED packages to
promote the color uniformity of the WLEDs. The outcomes of the research
demonstrate that utilizing ZnO at different amount can affect the scattering
energy and the CCT deviations in WLEDs packages in different extents.
Particularly, adding the node-like (N-ZnO), sheet-like (S-ZnO), and rod-like
(R-ZnO) leads to the corresponding decreases of CCT deviations from 3455.49
K to 96.30 K, 40.03 K, and 60.09 K, respectively. Meanwhile, with 0.25%
N-ZnO, 0.75% S-ZnO, and 0.25% R-ZnO, WLED devices can achieve both
better CCT homogeneity and lower reduction in luminous flux. The results of
this article can be a valuable document for the manufacturer to use as reference
in improving their WLED products.</text>

attentions in recent studies. We focused on palm print verification problem by
designing a deep network called a palm convolutional neural network (PCNN).
This network is adapted to deal with two-dimensional palm print images. It is
carefully designed and implemented for palm print data. Palm prints from the
Hong Kong Polytechnic University Contact-free (PolyUC) 3D/2D hand

accuracy of 97.67%, this performance is superior and it shows that our
proposed method is efficient.</text>
