<text>Recent advancements in the internet, social media, and internet of things
(IoT) devices have significantly increased the amount of data generated in a
variety of formats. The data must be converted into formats that is easily
handled by the data analysis techniques. It is mathematically and physically
expensive to apply machine learning algorithms to big and complicated data
sets. It is a resource-intensive process that necessitates a huge amount of
logical and physical resources. Machine learning is a sophisticated data
analytics technology that has gained in importance as a result of the massive
amount of data generated daily that needs to be examined. Apache Spark
machine learning library (MLlib) is one of the big data analysis platforms
that provides a variety of outstanding functions for various machine learning
tasks, spanning from classification to regression and dimension reduction.
From a computational standpoint, this research investigated Apache Spark
MLlib 2.0 as an open source, autonomous, scalable, and distributed learning
library. Several real-world machine learning experiments are carried out in
order to evaluate the properties of the platform on a qualitative and
quantitative level. Some of the fundamental concepts and approaches for
developing a scalable data model in a distributed environment are also
discussed.</text>

<text>This paper proposes method of series direct current (DC) arc fault protection
using low cost microcontroller. Series DC arc fault occurs when gap between
conductor or wire flows a current. Series DC arc fault can cause fire hazard if
do not detected and protected. However, Series DC arc fault is difficult to
detected using conventional protection. To detect series DC arc fault
accurately using fast Fourier transform (FFT). FFT is used to transform
signal in time domain to frequency domain. Series DC arc fault has different
characteristic compared by normal current in frequency domain. Therefore,
the proposed algorithm for protection of series DC arc fault based on
magnitudes of the current in frequency domain. Hardware system is
implemented by 100 V DC power supply and DC arc fault generator. Test
result is conducted experimentally under varying of load current such as 2 A,
2.5 A, 3 A, 3.5 A, 4 A and 5 A. Experimental testing results show that Series
DC arc fault protection has time for trip of 0.48 s, 0.26 s, 1.04 s, 0.68 s, 0.44
s and 0.48, respectively. The fastest time for trip is 0.26 s with current of 2.5
A. Therefore, the proposed algorithm for series DC arc fault protection can
operate to trip accurately and have the good performance.</text>

<text>Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the world, so early
detection of heart conditions is very important. Detection related to
cardiovascular disease can be conducted through the detection of heart
signals interference, one of which is called phonocardiography. This study
aims to classify heart disease based on phonocardiogram (PCG) signals using
the convolutional neural networks (CNN). The study was initiated with
signal preprocessing by cutting and normalizing the signal, followed by a
continuous wavelet transformation process using a mother wavelet analytic
morlet. The decomposition results are visualized using a scalogram, then the
results are used as CNN input. In this study, the PCG signals used were
classified into normal, angina pectoris (AP), congestive heart failure (CHF),
and hypertensive heart disease (HHD). The total data used, classified into 80
training data and 20 testing data. The obtained model shows the level of
accuracy, sensitivity, and diagnostic specificity of 100%, 100%, and 100%
for training data, respectively, while the prediction results for testing data
indicate the level of accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of 85%, 80%, and
100%, respectively. This result proved to be better than the mother wavelet
or other classifier methods, then the model was deployed into the graphical
user interface (GUI).</text>

Blockchain underlies the popularity of the digital currency Bitcoin and some other
digital money, sparking the start of a new era of Internet use, including electronic

voting (e-voting) system. In this work, we proposed designing and implementing an e-
voting system powered by the Ethereum blockchain. We used real-world data from the

Indonesian Election Commission (KPU) with 26 candidates and 15,725 voters from
the Jelupang sub-district. The testing and evaluation results using three miners in the
blockchain show that the system could commit around 23 transactions per second. All
15,725 votes are committed to the blockchain successfully within 12.75 minutes. The
total time required for creating all blockchain accounts is 13.4 hours.</text>

towards charging low energy wireless devices, especially wireless sensor

networks (WSN). This evolution is sparked by the development of low-
energy micro-controller units (MCU). This article presents a practical

multiple input multiple output (MIMO) RF energy-harvesting platform for
WSN. The RF energy is sourced from a dedicated access point (AP). The
sensor node is equipped with multiple antennas with diverse frequency
responses. Moreover, the platform allows for simultaneous information and
energy transfer without sacrificing system duplexity, unlike time-switching
RF harvesting systems where data is transmitted only for a portion of the
total transmission duty cycle, or power-splitting systems where the power
difference between the information signal (IS) and energy signal (ES) is
neglected. The proposed platform addresses the gap between those two.
Furthermore, system simulation and two energy scheduling methods between
AP and sensor node (SN) are presented, namely, Continuous power stream
(CPS) and intermittent power stream (IPS).</text>

<text>The most prominent protocols for data transfer in internet of things (IoT) are
message queuing telemetry transport (MQTT) and constrained application
protocol (CoAP). The existing clients from both sides are unable to
communicate directly because of the packet’s header structure difference in
application and transport layer. In response, this paper aims to develop a
bidirectional conversion server used to translate the specified messaging
protocol interchangeably in the OpenFlow network and transmit the
converted packet from both sides. The conversion server integrated the
MQTT subscriber and CoAP POST object for converting the MQTT
message into CoAP data. Similarly, the CoAP-MQTT translation was
processed by CoAP GET and MQTT publisher object. The research was
evaluated by analysing the round trip time (RTT) value, conversion delay,
and power consumption. The RTT value for MQTT-CoAP required 0.5 s
while the CoAP-MQTT was accumulated in 0.1 s for single-packet
transmission. In addition, the SDN controller and the conversion server only
consumed less than 1% central processing unit (CPU) usage during the
experiment. The result indicated that the proposed conversion server could
handle the translation even though there was an overwhelming request from
the clients.</text>

<text>Recently, data traffic movement through a wireless channel is assisted by
suggesting and implementing many mechanisms, to achieve the speedy
increasing importunity and popularity of the wireless networks. Various
wireless technologies can be copulated to develop a heterogeneous network,
which is a candidate towards (4G) networks. OPNET modeler (14.5) is used
to design simulation modules of the heterogeneous network. During device
connection between the worldwide interoperability for microwave access
(WiMAX) and universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS)
networks, Performance metrics such as; Jitter end-to-end delay (E-2-E)
Throughput is used. The results of the simulation are measured to determine
the efficiency of the transfer using WiMAX-UMTS according to the selected
metrics. The WiMAX-UMTS has shown valuable improvement in Process
Durability, reduction of E-2-E delay, and Jitter. The maximum amount of data
transfer and the least amount of delay and Jitter is at 250 sec. Because of the
handover operations and data transfer momentum, the worst-case passes in the
network when 618 sec is the minimum amount. The efficiency of
throughput for WiMAX equal to 0.092666% as for the efficiency of
throughput for UMTS equal to 4.633333*10-6 % whereas the E-2-E
efficiency a delay equal to 0.5466%.</text>

<text>Anapedia is a web-based encyclopedia designed specifically for children.
The web was built because there are still very few Indonesian-language
encyclopedias for children. This paper presents an evaluation of the usability
of the Anapedia website developed for children in Indonesia to retrieve
information available in a wide range of areas. In the context of usability
evaluation of children encyclopedia, this is the first study to analyze usability
problems identified by experts during the heuristic inspection on their overall
evaluation score. This evaluation, performed by seven usability experts,
involved the identification and analysis of usability problems in the selected
website. The assessment process was mainly based on the Sirius framework
evaluation mechanism. The web considered as having high usability level,
but they identified many usability problems for further improvement of the
site. The most violated heuristic item was found to be “help” whereas the
least violated heuristic item was “labelling” aspect.</text>

and occurs when there are presences of abnormal cells in the cervix, which
continue to grow uncontrollably. In the early stages, cervical cancer
indications are not perceptible; however, it is easily detected with different
forms of machine learning methods, such as the convolutional neural
network (CNN). This is a popular method with a wide range of applications
and known for its high accuracy value. Moreover, there is a support vector
machine (SVM) with several kernel functions that is commonly used in the
classification of diseases, and also known for its high accuracy value.
Therefore, the combination of CNN–SVM with several linear kernels
functions as classifier for the categorization of cervical cancer.</text>

systems using a hybrid algorithm that combines two types of keys, namely
symmetric and asymmetric keys. Encryption and decryption of messages or
information carried by a symmetric key using the simple symmetric key
algorithm and asymmetric keys using the Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA)
algorithm. The proposed hybrid algorithm requires a high running time in the
decryption process compared to the application of a single algorithm. The
level of security is stronger because it implements the process of message
encryption techniques with two types of keys simultaneously.</text>
