<text>With the huge advance in artificial intelligence and the rapid development of intelligent swarm algorithms, the exploration of facility layout problem (FLP) with its non-deterministic polynomial-time (NP-Hard) nature has gained much more attention. The squirrel search algorithm is one of the swarm algorithms that is known for its effective gliding feature that provides cheap exploration of lengthy distances. In this work, Msqrl algorithm is presented as a modification of squirrel search algorithm to be capable of handling permutation-specific FLP. The modification is done by introducing two new operators: Msqrl-Exchange and Msqrl-Winter. It is used to investigate the effectiveness in finding acceptable solutions to variable-size, single-row FLPs in a fast and efficient manner. Tests included small and large benchmark instances for comparisons. Outcomes show that Msqrl was able to improved quite a few previously found solutions by acting efficiently and converging rapidly to solutions. It outperformed both semidefinite programming and cuckoo optimization in finding optimal solutions in an acceptable number of iterations and relatively small population sizes</text>

<text>The paper demonstrates an enhancement in the mobile robot’s performance during trajectory tracking with static obstacles. An adaptive artificial neural network (ANN) control methodology with online tuning evolutionary slice genetic algorithm is used for the motion control of the nonlinear dynamics mobile robot system. This paper aims at locating the optimal path from the starting point to the target point and designing an ANN trajectory tracking control methodology. The algorithm is simulated with fixed-global environment obstacles to demonstate the effectiveness of the ANN controller and the evolutionary optimization algorithm in terms of the shortest path length generated and the minimum number of the evaluation cost function calculated. The simulation results illustrate that the ANN controller’s
parameters are obtained quickly, generating smooth wheels’ torque actions for the mobile robot platform with a minimum cost function evolution that lead to minimize the tracking error to approximately zero with no oscillation in the responses.</text>

<text>One of the ways to detect coronavirus disease of 2019 (COVID-19) is X-rays, computerized tomography (CT). This paper aims to detect
COVID-19 from CT images without any user intervention. The proposed
algorithm consists of 5 stages. These stages include; the first stage aims to collect data from hospitals and internet websites, the second stage
is pre-processing stage to remove noise and convert it from red green blue (RGB) to grayscale and then improve image quality, the third is the segmentation stage which included threshold and region-growing
segmentation methods. The fourth stage is used to extract important characteristics, and the last stage is classification CT images using feed forward back propagation network (FFBPN) and support vector machines (SVM) and compare the results between them and see if the person is infected or healthy. This study was implemented in MATLAB software.
The results showed that the noise cancellation technology using anisotropic filtering gave the best results. Region-growing method was reliable to
separate COVID-19 infected from healthy regions. The FFBPN has given the best results for detecting and classifying COVID-19. The results of the
proposed methodology are rapid and accurate in detecting COVID-19. The output from classifier is displayed on the Rasbperry Pi that included
weather if patient is infected or not and the severity of COVID-19 infection. </text>

<text>The problem with the acquisition of satellite imagery in the tropics, especially in the area around the equator is that it is almost covered by clouds throughout the year. Users need cloud cover information and the possibility of obtaining cloudless satellite images before they get the data.
An overview of the availability of cloud coverage distribution, especially those presented in a spatial format, was very beneficial and increased efficiency for users to select image data in the area of interest (AoI). This study aimed to develop a cloud removal, so-called blended cloud removal (BCR) model,
which was applied in a part of West Java Province. The data used for this study were 33 images of quick looks at high-resolution satellite images of
the 2013-2015 period that could be obtained free of charge on the website. The results showed that the distribution of efficiency was that AoI-1
obtained 99.67% efficiency of cloud removal image, AoI-2 was 76.51%, and AoI-3 obtained 98.34%. These three AoI locations have an average
efficiency of 91.50%. As a result, there was substantial evidence that fewer than 10% of cloud cover remains after cloud removal. This suggests that by using the BCR model, a considerable change in cloud cover for the AoI location might be obtained, meeting the Geospatial Information Agency’s standards.</text>

ROV controller. The vehicle is used for exploration, investigation or inspection of underwater environment as a replacement of human due to
human limitation. It can dive deeper than human and can be manoeuvred into hazard environment. In this paper, the basic development and
classification of ROV is discussed. The modelling of ROV, manoeuvrability and controller designed by researchers since 1990 also being discussed. It is
expected that this paper will help readers in doing research on the controller of ROV.</text>

<text>Dielectric characterization is very essential before the material can be utilized in designing microwave networks. Circular cylindrical resonators have been widely used for material characterization, but it is not a preferable design during the measurement of liquid samples as the sample placement requires repetitive process of opening and closing the lid of the cavity. This repetition procedure easily affects the accuracy of measurement and may lead to a measurement error. In this study, a rapid and less measurement procedure of liquid material characterization is proposed. The proposed
rectangular resonator design is far more convenient and easier to handle as it does not require complex sample preparation. Considering electric field
leakage, a hole is designed at the top of the cavity to ease the inserting process of sample. A 5-GHz prototype of a rectangular resonator is designed
and fabricated to measure a liquid sample. Complex scattering parameters are measured using a vector network analyzer before the dielectric properties
are estimated using an inverse technique. The dielectric properties of distilled water are measured to demonstrate the practicality of the proposed measurement technique. As a result, the measured dielectric properties of distilled water show a reasonable agreement with the values from other literature.</text>

<text>This paper proposes two attenuation factors (AF’s) to improve the performance of the soft-output Viterbi algorithm (SOVA) as well as to enhance the early termination mechanism in turbo decoding. The mean
square difference between the systematic bipolar coded symbols and the
a-posteriori information is used to estimate the first AF. The second AF is computed online for each iteration based on the correlation coefficient
between the extrinsic and a-priori information instead of intrinsic information as customary to calculate in literature. The second factor is used
in the early termination (ET) scheme which is practically useful to terminate iterations when there is no significant improvement is achieved. In addition, a method for offline computing the AF’s that cover a specific range of signal-to-noise power ratio is provided which results in a reduction of
utilization and latency estimates with a shallow degradation in performance. The results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the previous related works by about 0.2 dB at bit error rate (BER) of 10-5 using interleaver depth of 512 and reducing the average number of iterations (ANI) by about 3 iterations.</text>

<text>Over the last two years, most scientists have been researching the solution to the pandemic coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). So, the effective inspection and the rapid diagnosis of COVID-19 provide a mitigation ability to the burden on healthcare systems. These research works focus on detecting and knowing the history of infection in terms of time and developed symptoms. In infections detection, artificial intelligence (AI)technologies increase the accuracy and efficiency of the adopted detection methods. These methods will aid the medical staff in classifying patients, essentially when there is a healthcare resources shortage. This paper
proposed machine learning-based models for detecting the time of COVID-19 infection in weeks using the laboratory factors of detected
antibodies immunoglobulins G and immunoglobulins M (IgG-IgM). This test is common and helpful in diagnosing the suspected patients who held a negative result for the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction
(RT-PCR) test. The proposed models consider two machine learning models adopting root mean square error (RMSE) and mean absolute error (MAE) factors. The results show acceptable efficiency of performance that ranges from 80% to 100% for pointing the patient in any week of infection, to reduce the likelihood of transmitting the infection from patients who have developed symptoms but with false-negative RT-PCR test</text>

<text>Some large companies have difficulty in providing products even though the products are still available in the warehouse. Based on these problems,a solution is needed in managing cosmetic products and can find the right strategy so that it can increase business in the field of sales and improve sales services by using algorithms in data mining that can overcome these problems, such as clustering techniques that use the K-means clustering algorithm as a way to measure proximity data between cosmetic products based on transactions that have occurred. The specialty of the analysis of the management of cosmetic products in this study is that it produces data on
products that are not sold enough so that it can provide prevention so that the accumulation of these products does not occur. The use of K-means
clustering also makes it easier to collect cosmetic sales transaction data, can solve problems in classifying cosmetic product sales transaction data and find out which products should be in cosmetics stock so as to increase sales profits.</text>
