<text>Piezoelectric energy harvesters (PEHs) are a kind of energy harvester that
generates electricity due to pressure or vibration. Vortex-induced vibration
(VIV) is a method that utilized wind energy and bluff body to generate the
vibration in PEH. The objective of this research was to study the output
voltage that generates in different bluff bodies with various airflow
velocities. Experimental and simulation have done in this study.
Experimental used PEH that consists of piezoelectric bimorph and
rectangular-trapezoid fin. Bluff bodies with various cross-sectional areas,
namely rhombus, square, and triangle were set up in front of the PEH at a
distance of 80 cm. The various air velocities are set up to 5, 7, and 9 m/s in
the wind tunnel with a cross-section of 250 mm × 250 mm. The simulation
used the finite element method in explore the fluid flow pattern.
The rhombus cross-sectional bluff body can generate voltage with an
average of 1.5 volts. It is more voltage generated than a square and triangle.
A vortex is formed near the rhombus bluff body and generates pressure
fluctuation in its wake region. This pressure fluctuation takes place until
airflow hits and leads PEH to vibrate and generate the voltage.</text>

The one-to-many encryption scheme can produce several ciphertexts with differences of

<text>This paper scrutinizes visible light communication (VLC) employing hybrid
optical time division multiplexing (OTDM) wavelength division
multiplexing (WDM). It also demonstrates the simulation of VLC using the
direct sequence optical code division multiple access (DS-OCDMA) system
developed by OptiSystem-Matlab Co-simulation. The profits of WDM and
OTDM capacities have been combined using two levels of freedom to build
up of the system. The performances are demonstrated in the simulated
findings of the bit error rate (BER) in relationship with the data rate and the
number of users. First, the simulated results display the usefulness of the
system. Then, the number of users has been significantly enhanced. Besides,
the OCDMA functions by appointing a specific code to each user and could
provide asynchronous and simultaneous access to numerous users. One
drawback is multiple access interference (MAI). The use of very long code
sequences is crucial in order to lessen this effect. Hence, very large
bandwidths are essential. This study aims at demonstrating, through system
simulation, the practicability of an all-optical conventional correlation
receiver dedicated to a DS-OCDMA access network link. Again,
OptiSystem has been used to realize our blocks.</text>

<text>Heart rate signals and electrocardiograms are crucial indicators of a person’s
health, particularly for individuals in intensive care units (ICU). The goal of
this study is to wirelessly use a central monitoring system to continually and
in real-time monitor the electrocardiogram signal and heart rate. The result
of this research is that a wireless system can transmit continuous, distant,
and real-time electrocardiogram and heart rate readings. Two transmitters
and two receivers were used to send the signal in real-time. Lead II was used
to capture the electrocardiogram (ECG) data, which was then processed by a
microprocessor to determine the heart rate in beats per minute. The XBee
Pro wireless was then used to transmit the data to the monitor in the form of
an electrocardiogram and heart rate signal. The results of the XBee wireless
performance test with statistics for determining heart rate value revealed that
there was no discernible difference in the average value at a distance of 8,
10, 25, and 30 meters (P-value > 0.05). According to the study’s findings,
wireless transmission is feasible over a limited distance and in real-time.
Hospitals can use a central monitor to implement this research.</text>

<text>In this study, we analysis on the performance of pointing error effects for
reconfigurable intelligent surfeces (RISs) aided free-space optical (FSO)
communication link over moderate to strong atmospheric turbulence
channels. Among these solutions, RISs are considered as hardware technology
to improve performance of optical wireless communication systems.
Performance evaluation of systems is affected by atmospheric attenuation,
pointing errors and moderate to strong atmospheric turbulence channels for
quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) technique. Atmospheric turbulence
channel from moderate to strong is modeled using gamma-gamma
distribution. Several numerical results obtained the average symbol error rate
(ASER) performance versus beam waist radius and signal to noise ratio for
three value of pointing error displacement standard deviation. From the
results, it is show that with RIS assisted can effectively improve the
performance and link distance of the wireless communication systems.</text>

<text>In this study, to reduce the average symbol error rate, and improve coverage
and reliability of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to ground
communication systems. In this case, we propose a reconfigurable intelligent
surfaces (RISs) assisted for UAV to ground communication scheme, where
radio frequency (RF) signal generator sends an unmodulated carrier signal
from UAVs to the RIS. At reconfigurable intelligent surface, the RIS
modulates each signal, and RIS is as a signal generator. We carry out a
performance analysis of UAV-to-ground communication systems with
RIS-assisted and without RIS for subcarrier quadrature amplitude
modulation (SC-QAM) technique. The analytical expressions of average
symbol error rare (ASER) and average channel capacity (ACC) is derived.
From the results, it is show that with RIS assisted can effectively improve
the reliability and coverage of the UAVs to ground communication systems.</text>

<text>Biomedical named entity recognition (Bio-NER) is a highly complex and
time-consuming research domain using natural language processing (NLP).
It’s widely used in information retrieval, knowledge summarization,
biomolecular event extraction, and discovery applications. This paper
proposes a method for the recognition and classification of named entities in
the biomedical domain using machine learning (ML) techniques. Support
vector machine (SVM), decision trees (DT), K-nearest neighbor (KNN), and
its kernel versions are used. However, recent advancements in
programmable, massively parallel graphics processing units (GPU) hold
promise in terms of increased computational capacity at a lower cost to
address multi-dimensional data and time complexity. We implement a novel
parallel version of KNN by porting the distance computation step on GPU
using the compute unified device architecture (CUDA) and compare the
performance of all the algorithms using the BioNLP/NLPBA 2004 corpus.
Results demonstrate that CUDA-KNN takes full advantage of the GPU’s
computational capacity and multi-leveled memory architecture, resulting in a
35× performance enhancement over the central processing unit (CPU). In a
comparative study with existing research, the proposed model provides an
option for a faster NER system for higher dimensionality and larger datasets
as it offers balanced performance in terms of accuracy and speed-up, thus
providing critical design insights into developing a robust BioNLP system.</text>

<text>3D printing is a process in which material is joined layer by layer under
computer control to make a 3D object easy to get almost any shape. This
technology finds applications in various fields and it is attracting
considerable interest from industry and academia. There are many different
brands and models of motors used in 3D printers, and they all vary in quality
and effectiveness. In this article we present the principal of the 3D printer,
types of motors used in 3D printer and mathematical modelling of this
motors like brushless direct current (DC) motor, permanent magnet
synchronous motor (PMSM), and stepper motor. The models of analytical
equations describing the three systems of motors are evaluated and
developed by Matlab/Simunlink. In this paper, we have conducted a
comparison of the series of results from simulation between the performance
of PMSM, brushless DC and stepper motor. Among several criteria, this
simulation study allows to select the criterion of response time to reach the
desired speed and the precision of the rotor position to choose the most
performant motor for 3D printers.</text>
