<text>Heart rate signals and electrocardiograms are crucial indicators of a person’s
health, particularly for individuals in intensive care units (ICU). The goal of
this study is to wirelessly use a central monitoring system to continually and
in real-time monitor the electrocardiogram signal and heart rate. The result
of this research is that a wireless system can transmit continuous, distant,
and real-time electrocardiogram and heart rate readings. Two transmitters
and two receivers were used to send the signal in real-time. Lead II was used
to capture the electrocardiogram (ECG) data, which was then processed by a
microprocessor to determine the heart rate in beats per minute. The XBee
Pro wireless was then used to transmit the data to the monitor in the form of
an electrocardiogram and heart rate signal. The results of the XBee wireless
performance test with statistics for determining heart rate value revealed that
there was no discernible difference in the average value at a distance of 8,
10, 25, and 30 meters (P-value > 0.05). According to the study’s findings,
wireless transmission is feasible over a limited distance and in real-time.
Hospitals can use a central monitor to implement this research.</text>

<text>Existing researchers for rubeosis iridis disease focused on image
enhancement as a collective group without considering the multi-contrast of
the images. In this paper, the pre-enhancement process was proposed to
improve the quality of iris images for rubeosis iridis disease by separating
the image into three groups; low, medium and high contrast. Increment,
decrement and maintenance of the images’ original contrast were further
operated by noise reduction and multi-contrast manipulation to attain the
best contrast value in each category for increased compatibility prior
subsequent enhancement. As a result, this study proved that there have three
rules for the contrast modification method. Firstly, the histogram
equalization (HE) filter and increasing the image contrast by 50% will
achieve the optimum value for the low contrast category. Experimental
revealed that HE filters successfully increase the luminance value before
undergoing the contrast modification method. Secondly, reducing the 50% of
the image contrast to achieve the optimum value for the high contrast category.
Finally, the image contrast was maintained for the middle contrast category to
optimise contrast. The mean square error (MSE) and peak signal-to-noise ratio
(PSNR) of the outputs were then calculated, yielding an average of 18.25 and
28.87, respectively.</text>

chosen for the proposed VCO. The post layout simulations with the parasitic
resistance, inductance, capacitance (RLC) extracted view is carried out with
united microelectronics corporations (UMC) 0.18 μm process by spectre
simulator of cadence tools. The proposed VCO provides a phase noise
of -124.3 dBc/Hz @ 1 MHz. The tuning range obtained is 19.87% with a
centre frequency of 2.46 GHz which makes it suitable for industrial,
scientific, and medical (ISM) band applications. It consumes a power of
2.10 mW. Also, a good figure of merit of -189 is achieved. The total layout
area occupied is 477×545 μm2

conducting customer segmentation based on recency, frequency, monetary
(RFM) values and demographic variables. The step were selected the data and
normalized. The normalized data were clustered using the density based spatial
clustering of applications with noise (DBSCAN) algorithm. The k-dist graph
was utilized with RStudio tools to identify the best values for epsilon and
MinPts. The outcome of utilizing epsilon 0.06 and MinPts 3 was the
identification of 5 clusters and 31 data points considered as noise, resulting in a
silhouette index (SI) value of 0.4222. Based on the average RFM values,
cluster 1 was categorized as prospective customers, while clusters 2, 3, 4,
and 5 were designated as loyal customers. Furthermore, according to
demographic analysis, the majority of customers are between the ages of 35
to 45, female, married, and housewives. Women, groceries, such as rice and
cooking oil, were the most popular products. Besides, the customers were
mostly lecturers and lived in Pekanbaru. This was compatible with the
customer target of people from upper middle class, such as lecturers, and
with the location of the mart as well, which was near a campus.</text>

<text>Raw material availability is critical for the sustainability of industrial
activity. A bonded logistics centre is required as a multipurpose warehouse
for the storage of raw commodities, particularly those imported from other
countries. The operationalization of bonded logistics centers in terms of
supplying raw materials effectively and efficiently is largely location
dependent. Proper facility placement is critical for resolving the storage
issue and boosting the efficiency of the transportation system. The purpose
of this article is to suggest a technique for locating a bonded logistics centre.
In an unpredictable context, decision making requires a range of criteria
generated from knowledge and stakeholder experience. As a result, this work
proposes the combination of the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP)
with the fuzzy technique for ordering preferences by similarity to ideal
solution (FTOPSIS). By disclosing linguistic characteristics, fuzzy numbers
contribute to the resolution of ambiguity and imprecision. Obtaining the
weighted value of the criteria and sub-criteria using fuzzy AHP. Using fuzzy
TOPSIS, determining alternate preferences based on weighting factors. Its
use lies in being able to distinguish between criteria that provide advantages
and those that generate expenses. The findings indicate that the selected
option is the one that is most closely related to the positive ideal.</text>

<text>This paper scrutinizes visible light communication (VLC) employing hybrid
optical time division multiplexing (OTDM) wavelength division
multiplexing (WDM). It also demonstrates the simulation of VLC using the
direct sequence optical code division multiple access (DS-OCDMA) system
developed by OptiSystem-Matlab Co-simulation. The profits of WDM and
OTDM capacities have been combined using two levels of freedom to build
up of the system. The performances are demonstrated in the simulated
findings of the bit error rate (BER) in relationship with the data rate and the
number of users. First, the simulated results display the usefulness of the
system. Then, the number of users has been significantly enhanced. Besides,
the OCDMA functions by appointing a specific code to each user and could
provide asynchronous and simultaneous access to numerous users. One
drawback is multiple access interference (MAI). The use of very long code
sequences is crucial in order to lessen this effect. Hence, very large
bandwidths are essential. This study aims at demonstrating, through system
simulation, the practicability of an all-optical conventional correlation
receiver dedicated to a DS-OCDMA access network link. Again,
OptiSystem has been used to realize our blocks.</text>

<text>Controlling the position of the final load and the anti-swing control of the
loads during the operation of the tower crane are challenging tasks. These
are the most important control issues for safe operation, which are difficult
to achieve easily with conventional control systems. Hence, the need to
integrate the concepts of soft-computing into the tower crane control system.
The aim of this research work is to design an adaptive-network-based fuzzy
inference system (ANFIS) controller to move the payload to the final position
with the lowest possible swing angle. To evaluate the ability of the proposed
controller to meet the control requirements, its performance was compared to
three other controllers: a conventional proportional derivative (PD) controller,
a fuzzy-tuned PD controller and a fuzzy controller. MATLAB-based
computer simulations of the crane and controllers were carried out to verify
and compare the performance of the proposed controllers. The obtained
results show the effectiveness of the ANFIS-based controller in adjusting the
load position while keeping the load fluctuations small at the final position.
The load oscillation angle is about ±2.28° with the ANFIS controller while it
is about ±10° when using the PD controller. In addition, only one</text>

<text>Biomedical named entity recognition (Bio-NER) is a highly complex and
time-consuming research domain using natural language processing (NLP).
It’s widely used in information retrieval, knowledge summarization,
biomolecular event extraction, and discovery applications. This paper
proposes a method for the recognition and classification of named entities in
the biomedical domain using machine learning (ML) techniques. Support
vector machine (SVM), decision trees (DT), K-nearest neighbor (KNN), and
its kernel versions are used. However, recent advancements in
programmable, massively parallel graphics processing units (GPU) hold
promise in terms of increased computational capacity at a lower cost to
address multi-dimensional data and time complexity. We implement a novel
parallel version of KNN by porting the distance computation step on GPU
using the compute unified device architecture (CUDA) and compare the
performance of all the algorithms using the BioNLP/NLPBA 2004 corpus.
Results demonstrate that CUDA-KNN takes full advantage of the GPU’s
computational capacity and multi-leveled memory architecture, resulting in a
35× performance enhancement over the central processing unit (CPU). In a
comparative study with existing research, the proposed model provides an
option for a faster NER system for higher dimensionality and larger datasets
as it offers balanced performance in terms of accuracy and speed-up, thus
providing critical design insights into developing a robust BioNLP system.</text>

<text>In this study, we used several classifiers and vectorizers to see their effect on
processing social media data. In this study, the classifiers used were random
forest, logistic regression, Bernoulli Naive Bayes (NB), and support vector
clustering (SVC). Random forests are used to reduce spatial complexity, and
also to minimize errors. Logistic regression is a method with a statistical model
whose basic form uses a logistic function to represent the binary dependent
variable. Then, the Naive Bayes function uses binary elements and SVC which
has so far given good results rivals other guided learning. Our tests use social
media data. Based on the tests that have been carried out on classifier
variations and vectorizer variations, it was found that the best classifier is a
linear regression algorithm based on predictive adaptive compared to the
random forest method based on decision trees, probability-based Bernoulli NB
and SVC which work by clustering. Meanwhile, from the test results on the
count vectorizer, term frequency-inverse document frequency (TFIDF), and
hashing, the best accuracy is achieved on the TFIDF vectorizer. In this case,
it means that the TFIDF vectorizer has a better value in presenting word
feature dimensions.</text>

<text>3D printing is a process in which material is joined layer by layer under
computer control to make a 3D object easy to get almost any shape. This
technology finds applications in various fields and it is attracting
considerable interest from industry and academia. There are many different
brands and models of motors used in 3D printers, and they all vary in quality
and effectiveness. In this article we present the principal of the 3D printer,
types of motors used in 3D printer and mathematical modelling of this
motors like brushless direct current (DC) motor, permanent magnet
synchronous motor (PMSM), and stepper motor. The models of analytical
equations describing the three systems of motors are evaluated and
developed by Matlab/Simunlink. In this paper, we have conducted a
comparison of the series of results from simulation between the performance
of PMSM, brushless DC and stepper motor. Among several criteria, this
simulation study allows to select the criterion of response time to reach the
desired speed and the precision of the rotor position to choose the most
performant motor for 3D printers.</text>
