                <text>This paper attempts to assess the variety and relevance of barriers to entry perceived by Portuguese firms. Based on a questionnaire, Portuguese firms’ perceptions were surveyed using a sample of 168&#13;
firms. The results suggest that sunk costs, capital requirements, capital costs, and cost disadvantages are the most important barriers to entry. Applying a factor analysis, six underlying dimensions of entry barriers – investment in R&amp;D, strategic behaviour, investment risk, advertising, cost disadvantages, and&#13;
capacity – were identified. These findings are quite consistent among industries and firms’ sizes. Still, micro firms have lower perceptions regarding entry barriers than SMEs and large firms. Portuguese firms’ perceptions on entry barriers suggest that both structural and strategic barriers are important and that the effectiveness of strategic barriers depends on the structural characteristics of the market. </text>

                <text>The objective of this study is to compare the effects of a company’s perceived levels of trust, reputation, risk perception, and quality, on consumers’ purchasing intention in two contexts. The first context posits a company in stable financial condition, while the second a company in bankruptcy reorganization. After proposing the theoretical model, we conducted research using two questionnaires, which resulted in 187 respondents for the stable company situation, and 189 who responded to questions about companies undergoing corporate bankruptcy reorganization. The results support our assumptions that the state of a company’sfinancial situationhas aneffect onthe relationshipoftrust onperceivedquality, andreputation on purchase intention. These results lead to the conclusion that an unfavourable financial situation does not generally harm consumer perceptions of the supplier company but may cause changes in perceptions of their trust and reputation. </text>

                <text>Supply chain disruptions have serious consequences for society and this has made supply chain risk management (SCRM) an attractive area for researchers and managers. In this paper, we use an objec�tive literature mapping approach to identify, classify, and analyze decision-making models and support systems for SCRM, providing an agenda for future research. Through bibliometric networks of articles published in the Scopus database, we analyze the most influential decision-making models and support systems for SCRM, evaluate the main areas of current research, and provide insights for future research in this field. The main results are the following: we found that the identity of the area is structured in&#13;
three groups of risk decision support models:(i) quantitative multicriteria decision models,(ii) stochastic decision-making models, and (iii) computational simulation/optimization models. We mapped six cur�rent research clusters: (i) conceptual and qualitative risk models, (ii) upstream supply chain risk models, (iii) downstream supply chain risk models, (iv) supply chain sustainability risk models, (v) stochastic and multicriteria decision risk models, and (vi) emerging techniques risk models. We identified seven future&#13;
research clusters, with insights from further studies for: (i) tools to operate SCRM data, (ii) validation of risk models, (iii) computational improvement for data analysis, (iv) multi-level and multi-period supply chains, (v) agrifood risks, (vi) energy risks and (vii) sustainability risks. Finally, the future research agenda should prioritize SCRM’s holistic vision,the relationship between Big Data, Industry 4.0 and SCRM, as well as emerging social and environmental risks. </text>

                <text>This study aims to analyse, within the scope of publicly listed Spanish companies, whether the manda�tory implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) has had an effect on financial&#13;
analysts’ earnings forecasts and investments in non-cross-listed Spanish companies (those only listed on the Spanish capital market). A sample of 369 observations for companies listed on the Spanish securities market for the period 2004–2007, of which 84 are cross-listed, was used to perform the analysis. The results show that the transition from domestic to international accounting standards has had positive effects for non-cross-listed Spanish companies, leading to the improved accuracy of financial analysts’ earnings forecasts and an increase in investments. </text>

                <text>In today’s competitive environment and global world, where the boundaries have disappeared as a result of the continuous development in communication and technology, the attitudes and behaviours of the employees in their organisations are becoming more important in terms of employees’ performance, strategic human resources management (SHRM), leadership roles of senior managers. In this study, the effects of(SHRM) and servantleadership on‘rule breaking’ behaviours and ‘job satisfaction’ ofthe employ�ees in their organisation have been examined. Our findings and analyses show that private organisations are afraid of losing customers in competitive environments and therefore their employees go beyond the determined procedures to sustain the interests of their organisation. Future studies should focus on the attitudes and behaviors of individuals in order to develop new theoretical concepts and better studies related to human resources and leadership styles. The sample population of our study consists of 385 white-collar employees working in the public and private sectors in the Central Anatolia region. 228 were employed in the private sector and 157 in the public sector. Findings were subjected to factor and reliability analyses using SPSS AMOS 22 program, hypotheses were tested by regression analysis and the results were analysed and evaluated. </text>
