<text> The elderly are vulnerable because they have experienced various setbacks. Degenerative disorders are
physiological processes that occur in the elderly; one that often occurs is a decrease in the function of the
musculoskeletal system, such as complaints of joint pain, decreased muscle strength, and decreased balance, which
can cause the risk of falling. The management that can be done to prevent falls while minimizing side effects is
using non-pharmacological therapies, one of which is the Otago Exercise. This case study aims to explain how the
impact of Otago Exercise is to prevent the risk of falling in the elderly. The writing method used in this study is
a case study conducted on the elderly Mrs. S. The results of nursing care after carrying out the Otago Exercise
Program showed an increase in the risk of falling in the elderly from 32 to 39. This Otago Exercise has been proven
to be effective and can be done to prevent the risk of losing. The elderly can implement the Otago Exercise Program on an ongoing basis accompanied by officers at the orphanage to avoid falls and maintain a balance so that joint function and posture remain good</text>

<text>Cardiac arrest is the sudden cessation of a person’s cardiac activity and is often fatal if corrective lifesaving interventions are not performed quickly. The American Heart Association advocates the need for high CPR
competency among healthcare providers to increase the cardiac arrest survival rate. This study aimed to determine
the knowledge and practice of nursing students on the acquisition and retention of CPR. A quantitative
descriptive-correlation design was used, and a sample of 76 nursing students of Universiti Malaysia Sabah were
recruited via a non-probability purposive technique. Data were collected using an online survey questionnaire
that consists of 3 sections: Demographic, knowledge of CPR, and practice of CPR. They were analyzed using the
correlation method. The results of this study are about the knowledge and practice of CPR. Nursing students'
knowledge of the acquisition of CPR could be higher (39.36%), as is their practice (31.95%). The correlation coefficient between knowledge and practice is insignificant (rho = -0.073, p 0.531).In this study, both the knowledge and practice of CPR are independent.</text>

<text>Hypertension is defined as a condition that blood pressure is more than 140/90 mmHg. Because the
aging process causes blood vessels to stiffen and the elasticity of the ventricular walls to decrease, the elderly are
categorized as a health susceptible category. This disorder can lead to hypertension, which can have catastrophic
effects such as stroke and even death. The purpose of this study was to determine how Isometric Handgrip Exercise
(IHE) therapy accompanied by degung instrumental music affects blood pressure changes in elderly people with
hypertension. A quantitative design with a quasi-experimental approach, pretest and post-test methodologies, and
a control group was used for the study. The sample approach for this study will be probability sampling. 59
samples were collected and divided into two groups: intervention (30 respondents) and control group (29
respondents). This study lasted 2 × 2 minutes, was interrupted by 3 minutes of rest, and was conducted on three
consecutive days. The result of the study revealed a p-value of 0.00, showing that the Isometric Handgrip Exercise
intervention, coupled with Sundanese degung instrumental music, had an effect on blood pressure fluctuations
in elderly people with hypertension. The IHE intervention accompanied by Sundanese degung instrumental music is recommended as IHE in decreasing blood pressure in hypertension patients.</text>

<text> Mental disorders have different manifestations and symptoms but are generally characterized by some
combination of disturbances of thought, perception, emotion, behavior, and impaired relationships with other
people. Severe mental disorders, including schizophrenia, are prone to stigma. Good self-acceptance has a robust
negative correlation with stigma. This study examines the effect of Islamic acceptance and commitment therapy
(ACT) on self-acceptance in patients with mental disorders. The research method is quantitative with a semiexperimental pre-post-test. Respondents in this study were Thirty-one mental illness patients diagnosed with
schizophrenia who were selected using a purposive sampling technique that met the criteria of being Muslim,
having awareness and understanding of patients with mental disorders experienced in the good category, namely
being aware of the disease experienced. The measuring instrument used in this study consisted of a demographic
questionnaire and an Unconditional Self-Acceptance Questionnaire (USAQ). The study was conducted over a
period of three months, with intervention times varying between one and three weeks for each patient. Results
showed that ACT with an Islamic approach significantly increased self-acceptance in patients with mental
disorders (P<0.001). ACT can be used as an effective intervention to increase self-acceptance in a patient with mental disorders.</text>

<text>Psychological distress among students leads to less productivity, reduced quality of life, and learning
difficulties and may negatively affect patient care. Objective: The main aim of this study is to identify stress factors
among UMS students. A cross-sectional descriptive, universal sampling of 152 student nurses was included in
this study. Respondents were given a self-answered structured questionnaire conclusive of socio-demographic
data, the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10), and factors associated with stress. A descriptive analysis was used to
analyze the data. Results & Findings, out of 152 students, the majority have moderate stress (83.6 %), about 12.5
% have low-stress levels, and only 3.9 % of respondents have high stress levels. The results show that students
experienced or reported significantly higher academic factors (24.9 %), followed by interpersonal factors (24.6 %)
Conclusion: According to study findings, stress is most prevalent among nursing students and is attributed to
academic and interpersonal causes. It is advised to use proactive learning strategies, peer and staff mentoring and modeling, professional networks and social support, psychological support, and faculty role and behavior</text>

<text>Heart failure is caused by the heart's inability to maintain normal blood flow. Some patients
with heart failure expressed that they needed nurses' help with their physical, psychological, and
spiritual problems. Spiritual Well-Being and its components play an essential role in a person's
declining quality of life and have been linked to various other health factors. This research aims to
determine the relationship between spiritual well-being and the quality of life of heart failure patients.
The sample for this research was 100 respondents taken using the accidental sampling technique. Data
analysis uses the chi-square correlation test if the test conditions are met. If the test requirements are
not met, use the alternative Fisher exact test. The instruments used in this research were the Spiritual
Needs Questionnaire (SpNQ) and the Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire (MLHFQ).
The results of this study illustrate that there is no relationship between quality-of-life scores and all
aspects of the spiritual needs of heart failure patients (p> 0.05). The analysis showed that NYHA
functional status (p= 0.044) and ejection fraction (r= -0.205, p= 0.041) influenced the spiritual needs of
heart failure patients. The results of this study indicate that the patient's spiritual needs are not related
to the general quality of life score but have a significant relationship with the physiological dimensions of quality of life, ejection fraction, and NYHA functional status.</text>

affect daily life. One of the most common and frequently complained symptoms in cancer patients is sleep
disturbance. This paper aims to determine the effect of self-care to overcome sleep disorders in cancer patients. The
author uses several databases, such as Scopus, SpringerLink, and Sage Journal. Clinical Key Nursing for use in
the search for relevant articles. There are a total of 8 articles have been analyzed where several self-care
interventions are used to treat sleep disorders in cancer patients, including mindfulness, exercise, yoga, dance,
and personal psychotherapy. most of them showed results in a decrease in sleep disturbances in cancer patients,
but there was one article that did not show significant results related to sleep disturbances. All the articles found
were forms of intervention from self-care. There are three articles related to insomnia, one related to sleep quality,
and four others related to sleep disturbance. Based on several journals that have been analyzed, it can be concluded
that the provision of self-care interventions can affect the incidence of sleep disorders in cancer patients. A practical and secure method, exemplified by self-care practices, seeks to enhance sleep quality, general comfort, and the patient's overall quality of life.</text>

<text>The country has been facing the Covid-19 crisis that has affected the rest of the world in this
decade. Numerous approaches and alternatives are implemented by the government to overcome this
pandemic either controlled or stopped utterly. In order for the government to succeed, the emphasis on
breaking the chain of infection of Covid-19 and the direction of the Movement Control Order (MCO)
must be strengthened. Thus, the main goal of this study is to identify the level of patient’s knowledge
regarding Covid-19 and Movement Control Order as well as to analyze the relationship between the level of
knowledge about Covid-19 and Movement Control Order among patients who come for treatment at the
Kinarut Health clinic. Methodology: This study applies the quantitative research methodology, specifically
surveys through questionnaires, whereas the sampling method used is systematic sampling with 200 patients
involved within the Kinarut area. Analysis of instrument evaluation and sampling technique is also
discussed in this study. Analysis: The finding showed that the patients' knowledge level about Covid-19 was
at a moderate level with a mean value = 3.610, Standard Deviation (SD)= 0.345. The level of knowledge
relating to Movement Control Order (MCO) is also at a moderate level with a mean value = 3.610, S = 0.345.
Result: The correlation analysis showed that there is a strong relationship between the level of knowledge
about Covid-19 and also the level of knowledge of the Movement Control Order, with a correlation value of
r = 0.71, p> 0.05. Thus, the results of this analysis show that there is a strong relationship between the
variables of the knowledge level of Covid-19 and Movement Control Order in breaking the chain of infection Covid-19, particularly among patients who are living around Kinarut.</text>

<text>One of the health problems experienced by patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus is poor sleep quality.
Poor sleep quality is an important factor in poor blood sugar regulation. This study aims to determine the
predictors of sleep quality in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at a private hospital in Yogyakarta. This
research used a cross-sectional approach on 150 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients recruited at the Endocrine Clinic
at a private hospital in Yogyakarta. The questionnaires used in this research were demographic data
questionnaires, the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10), and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Data
analysis was carried out using Multiple hierarchical linear regression. The research results show that the average stress score of respondents in this study was 16.13 (SD = 4.59), which is in the medium category. Global PSQI
showed respondents experienced poor sleep quality (mean = 5.33, SD = 1.79). The Perceived Stress Scale score
contributed 23.6% to the sleep quality score. The higher the respondent's stress level, the lower the respondent's
sleep quality. Nurses can develop interventions to improve the sleep quality of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.</text>

<text>Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy have several side effects. Cancer patients felt side effects
when undergoing chemotherapy, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, peripheral neuropathy,
alopecia, pain, and fatigue. Fatigue is a condition that occurs in patients because the bone marrow stops producing
red blood cells during the chemotherapy process. Fatigue can be severe when patients experience pain, depression,
and lack of sleep. Fatigue management can be done with non-pharmacological therapy, one of the therapy is
massage therapy. Massage therapy can be a manual stimulation of tissues in the body to improve blood circulation,
relax muscles, reduce pain, reduce fatigue, and improve sleep quality. Massage therapy can overcome anxiety and
reduce fatigue significantly. This study aims to analyze the effect of massage therapy on fatigue in cancer patients
undergoing chemotherapy. The researchers used several databases such as Pubmed and Science Direct. A total of
9 articles were analyzed. In the article, there are several massage therapy interventions used to overcome fatigue
in cancer patients including acupressure, reflexology, Thai massage, back massage, and progressive muscle
relaxation. Based on several journals that have been analyzed, it can be concluded that the provision of massage therapy interventions can reduce fatigue in cancer patients.</text>
