<text>Introduction: The Early Warning Score (EWS) can be used to predict the
likelihood of short-term and long-term death. It is associated with
abnormalities in the condition of vital signs of patients who are at high risk
of death, regardless of the intervention or timeliness of medical personnel.

Methods: This research is an innovation for the management of Evidence-
based practice-based nursing actions. It was conducted using quantitative

research (quasi-experiment) using post-test design with control group.
The populations were all hospitalized patients in the adult room of the
Subang Hospital.
Results: The result showed that the Gross Death Rate in the control group
of 29 people with a percentage of 10.54% of the total number of
respondents is 275. Then, in the intervention group, the GDR figure was a
small percentage of 12 people with a percentage of 4.36%. Meanwhile, the
Net Death Rate in the control group was 9 people with a percentage of
3.27%. In the intervention group, the number of NDR was small, namely 4
people with a percentage of 1.45%.
Conclusion: Based on the results and analysis of statistical tests that have
been conducted on the implementation of the application of Early Warning
Score (EWS), it was found that the detection of early death intervention
group is lower than the control group. Early Warning scores significantly
decreased the GDR and NDR in the intervention group compared to the
control group.</text>

                <text>Introduction: Intravenous anesthetic induction is a medically-induced
technique that can cause hemodynamic disorder. The impact that occurs if
hemodynamic disorders are not immediately resolved in patients with
intravenous anaesthesia induction can cause an increase or decrease in
blood pressure, decreased tissue perfusion, increased heart rate and
arrhythmias so that it disrupts the surgical action plan. Blood pressure,
Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP), and pulse should be monitored carefully
during induction. We ought to examine the effect of intravenous induction
of anesthesia on the hemodynamic changes among patients in the Level-II
Udayana Denpasar Hospital.
Methods: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study with a consecutive
sampling technique. All patients under intravenous induction of anesthesia
were considered eligible study respondents. Data were collected using an
observation sheet, The number of samples in this study were 60
respondents, and the statistical test used a univariate technique by looking
at the frequency distribution of the hemodynamic features of the patient's
blood pressure and pulse.
Results: Findings reported that the majority of patients were documented
with normal systolic blood pressure (51: 85.0%), normal MAP (56; 93.3%),
and normal pulse rate (44; 73.3%) during the intravenous induction. Low
diastolic blood pressure was reported among 33 respondents (55.5%).
Conclusion: The intravenous anesthetic induction altered the
hemodynamic status among the respondents.</text>

<text>Introduction: Dysmenorrhea can be overcome in one way, namely
dysmenorrhea exercise. This exercise is useful for improving blood flow
therefore it can increase the endorphins hormone through movements
that make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The purpose of this study was
to analyze the effect of dysmenorrhea exercise on reducing menstrual pain
felt by adolescent girls.
Methods: This study was pre-experimental research with one group
pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used was total sampling
consisting of 35 adolescents girl with dysmenorrhea. Data was collected
using an instrument in the form of a numerical rating scale (NRS). This
research was conducted in January - March 2022 in the village of Jineng
Dalem Buleleng.
Results: The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks statistical test in
adolescents who were given the intervention of dysmenorrhea exercise
therapy showed that there were no respondents who increased menstrual
pain. This shows that after the intervention, 35 respondents experienced a
decrease in menstrual pain. The statistical results obtained that the
calculated Z value is 5.189 > from the z table value of 1.960 with a p value
of 0.001 <0.05.
Conclusion: Therefore it can be concluded that there was an effect of
dysmenorrhea exercise on reducing menstrual pain felt by adolescent girls
in Jineng Dalem Village, Buleleng District. Based on the results of this study,

it is hoped that adolescents who experience dysmenorrhea can use non-
pharmacological therapies such as dysmenorrhea exercises to reduce

menstrual pain.</text>

<text>Introduction: Hypertension is understood as the silent killer as it
frequently appears without symptoms and is a major cause of
cardiovascular disease. The elderly is a group who is vulnerable to being
diagnosed with cardiovascular disease. Cupping therapy is a popular
alternative treatment option performed by the community. Over time, it
encourages nurses to entirely evidence the benefits of cupping therapy.
The objective of this study is to determine the effect of cupping therapy on
reducing blood pressure in the elderly.
Methods: This research was conducted by employing a method in the form
of a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest. Researchers
examined blood pressure before cupping therapy and calculated it again
30 minutes after cupping therapy. The sample administered was 15 elderly
patients with cupping at Al Ghaffar Care, Bone Regency, which were
selected by administering purposive sampling technique.
Results: After conducting statistical analysis by employing the paired
sample T-test, the systolic pressure was obtained a significant value (p
0.001 < 0.05) with an average decrease in systolic pressure of 5.133 mmHg
and a significant diastolic pressure was acquired (p 1,000 > 0.05). The
results signify that there is an effect between a decrease in systolic
pressure but no effect on diastolic pressure before and after cupping
therapy.
Conclusion: In order to allow for a reduction in the dose of antihypertensive
medications administered and lower the danger of drug dependence,
cupping therapy can be thought of as an alternative therapy and adjunct
therapy in patients with high blood pressure.</text>

<text>Introduction: Caring is the most important to get patient satisfaction.
However, currently caring is only considered as empathy without regard
to the patient's cultural background. This study aims to investigate patient
satisfaction regarding nursing services in a multicultural area by using the
ethnocaring model as a predictor.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on patients in a nursing
service in Subang District (n = 135 using consecutive sampling).
Maintaining beliefs (MB), culture care preservation (CP), knowing (KN),
being with (BW), negotiating (NE), doing for (DF), enabling (EN), and
restructuring (RE) are used as independent variables, and patient
satisfaction (PS) as the dependent variable. The instrument used was
developed in accordance with ethnocaring model and PSQ-18. Multiple
linear regression was used to analyze the ability of the ethnocaring model
as a predictor of patient satisfaction.
Results: The results showed that patient satisfaction had a mean score of
14.42 (score interval = 0-18). The following are the p-values for each
variable: MB (0.021); CP (0.032); KN (0.015); BW (0.038); NE (0.026); DF
(0.033); EN (0.043); and RE (0.034); they can all significantly predict PS
with R-Square = 0.815.
Conclusion: The strength of the ethnocaring model in predicting patient
satisfaction was 81.5%. The construct of ethnocaring model could help
nurses in understanding patient satisfaction.</text>

<text>Introduction: Most nurses who were infected by COVID-19 experienced
Post-acute Sequelae of COVID-19. Post-acute Sequelae of COVID-19 has
caused fatigue, shortness of breath, memory impairment, and joint pain
which make nurses unable to work optimally. Objective: This research
aimed to analyze the association between BMI, depression, and post-acute
sequelae of COVID-19 among nurses in Lamongan, Indonesia.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional research which involved all nurses in
Lamongan who were infected by COVID-19. The samples were obtained by
purposive sampling from June to July 2022. The data were gathered by
using questionnaires. Depression was measured by PHQ-9 questionnaire
to which then analyzed by logistic regression test (α≤0.05).
Results: A total of 226 nurses who were infected by COVID-19 participated
in this study. From the number, 45.1% were males and 54.9% were
females. 96% were working in the health services while 4% were working
in the educational institutions. 17.6% had history of diseases while 82.4%
had no history of diseases. The results indicated that gender was not
associated with both sequelae of cough and fatigue (p>0.05). BMI was not
associated with either sequelae of cough or fatigue (p>0.05). Depression
did not affect sequelae of cough (p=0.62), but nurses who experienced
depression were 0.12 times at risk of experiencing fatigue (p=0.02).
Conclusion: It can be concluded that depression is a factor which increases
fatigue.</text>

<text>Introduction: Organ dysfunction may lead to critical disease. The critical disease has put many patients to be monitored intensively during medical treatment to restore their body function. Most ventilator usage is to support recovery from respiratory system problems. A ventilator is connected to an Endo Tracheal Tube inserted into the patient’s mouth. This study aims to explore in depth the meaning of patient experience dealing with endotracheal tube insertion during hospitalization in intensive care unit.
Methods: This study used a qualitative research design with an interpretative phenomenological approach. This study used purposive sampling, with total 10 participants with inclusion criteria: patient that has endotracheal tube experience more than 2 x 24 hours, 30-70 years of age, conscious, has good memory while in intensive care unit, able to communicate well and are willing to become participants by signing the participant’s informed consent form. The data collection strategy used in-depth interview techniques with semi-structured interview guidelines. Researchers conducted data analysis using NVivo.
Results: There are five themes in this study, namely: pain, feeling thirsty, disoriented, feeling anxiety, and hard to communicate verbally.
Conclusion: Discomfort experienced in patients while utilizing endotracheal tubes and ventilators affects both physically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually. It takes a lot of courage to survive during those hard times. Patients adapt by praying, showing an obedient attitude, keeping calm, and trying to find out their self-comfort position.</text>

<text>Introduction: One of the non-pharmacological methods used to increase breast milk production is known as complementary care, one of which is by giving oxytocin massage using lavender aromatherapy oil. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of oxytocin massage using lavender aromatherapy oil on postpartum mother's milk production.
Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test with a control group. The sample in this study were postpartum mothers with a sample size of 15 respondents in the treatment group and 15 respondents in the control group who met the criteria. The intervention group received oxytocin massage services with lavender aromatherapy oil starting on the 2nd day postpartum, while the control group received breastfeeding assistance, then on the 6th day both groups measured milk production using a Brust Pump. The instrument used is the observation sheet. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Mann-Whitney test.
Results: Based on the calculation of the Mann-Whitney test, the sig value (p value) is 0.000, where p value <0.05, which means that oxytocin massage using lavender aromatherapy oil has a significant effect on maternal milk production in normal postpartum.
Conclusion: Combination complementary therapy between oxytocin massage and lavender aromatherapy can increase breast milk production in postpartum mothers in Denpasar City. </text>

the ICU, so as to provide appropriate intervention and help assess the
patient's pain response non-verbally. The purpose of this study was to
determine the knowledge of nurses in using the Critical-care Pain
Observation Tool in assessing pain.
Methods: This study used a quantitative descriptive research method, with
total sampling. Samples were taken by 72 respondents.
Results: The results obtained 14 respondents with good knowledge, 26
respondents with enough knowledge, and 32 respondents with less
knowledge.
Conclusion: The conclusion is that the knowledge of nurses in using the
Critical-care Pain Observation Tool in assessing pain is poor knowledge.
The recommendation for this research is to provide knowledge related to
pain assessment using CPOT with education.</text>
