                <text>Introduction: Perioperative hypothermia can cause various adverse&#13;
physiological effects if not prevented. Preventing perioperative&#13;
hypothermia includes using a blanket warmer, warm parenteral fluid, and&#13;
operating room temperature modification. The research aimed to compare&#13;
the effectiveness of blanket warmer, warm parenteral fluid, and operating&#13;
room temperature modification in preventing perioperative hypothermia.&#13;
Methods: The research design was a true experiment with a posttest-only&#13;
control design approach. The sample size was 47 for each group, with 188&#13;
samples used for the four groups (warmer blanket, warm parenteral fluids,&#13;
room-modified temperature, and control). This study employed a simple&#13;
random sampling technique. The instruments used included Standard&#13;
Operating Procedures (SOP) and an axillary thermometer. The data was&#13;
collected by filling out an observation sheet, which included&#13;
observations—and data analysis using the Kruskal-Wallis test.&#13;
Results: The highest average in preventing hypothermia was observed in&#13;
the group with operating room temperature modification, with a value of&#13;
136.84. The second highest was the blanket warmer group, with an&#13;
average of 95.59, followed by the warm parenteral fluid group, with an&#13;
average of 87.20. The control group had the lowest average at 58.3.&#13;
Conclusion: The group with operating room temperature modification&#13;
showed a significant difference from the other groups, indicating that this&#13;
intervention is more effective in preventing perioperative hypothermia.</text>

                <text>Introduction: Non-communicable diseases are chronic diseases that are the&#13;
most common causes of death worldwide, including in Indonesia. The&#13;
increase in the prevalence of NCDs occurs year after year and becomes a&#13;
problem for national health and budget. This challenge is why the&#13;
enactment of Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health was subsequently&#13;
followed by the implementation of Government Regulation Number 28 of&#13;
2024 on the Implementation Regulations of Law Number 17 of 2023 on&#13;
&#13;
Health. This research aims to understand the prevention of non-&#13;
communicable diseases outlined in this regulation.&#13;
&#13;
Methods: The research design used a descriptive-analytical approach with&#13;
a normative-juridical approach. Searching for constitutional norms was&#13;
used to gather legal resources. Since the analysis was about a legal event&#13;
or state, a descriptive technique was employed to present it. The case&#13;
method for the research problem was used.&#13;
Results: Health promotion, early detection, limiting sugar, salt, and fat&#13;
intake, controlling tobacco products, physical activity, immunization, and&#13;
health services are all part of the NCD control strategy, according to Article&#13;
192 of Government Regulation Number 28 of 2024 concerning the&#13;
Implementation Regulation of Law No. 17 of 2023 concerning Health.&#13;
Conclusion: The prevention of NCDs requires holistic and comprehensive&#13;
actions, starting with the formation of government regulations. The&#13;
government is the policy executor authorized by law to implement public&#13;
policies to achieve the health administration goals in Indonesia.</text>

                <text>Introduction: A healthy working environment (HWE) is essential for nurse&#13;
well-being, job satisfaction, and overall healthcare quality. However, in&#13;
Indonesia, the conditions of the work environment and the&#13;
implementation of professional nursing practices in private hospitals&#13;
remain underexplored. This scoping review aims to identify, evaluate, and&#13;
propose strategies for improving HWE in private hospitals.&#13;
Methods: A total of 14 studies met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed&#13;
from ProQuest, NCBI, CINAHL, and SpringerLink from 2013 to 2023. Three&#13;
major themes emerged: Organizational Support – Policies ensuring nurse&#13;
welfare, workplace safety, and professional development significantly&#13;
reduce burnout and enhance job satisfaction. Fair compensation,&#13;
performance assessments, human resource fulfillment, and nurse&#13;
engagement in decision-making contribute to a more sustainable work&#13;
environment; Management and Teamwork – Effective communication,&#13;
strong leadership, and collaboration are crucial in improving nurse&#13;
performance and motivation. Hospitals that emphasize nurse-physician&#13;
cooperation and conflict resolution report higher retention rates and&#13;
improved patient outcomes; Individual Factors – Workplace relationships,&#13;
personal resilience, and professional recognition directly affect nurses'&#13;
mental well-being and job commitment. However, verbal harassment,&#13;
workplace violence, seniority-based discrimination, and lack of&#13;
engagement opportunities negatively impact nurse retention.&#13;
Results: The findings confirm that a strong HWE enhances nurse&#13;
satisfaction, retention, and patient care quality. Therefore, creating and&#13;
maintaining a positive work environment requires joint efforts from&#13;
hospital administrators, policymakers, and healthcare professionals.&#13;
Conclusion: Future strategies should prioritize comprehensive&#13;
assessments, communication skills training, ethical practice&#13;
reinforcement, and continuous professional development to support nurse&#13;
well-being and optimize healthcare services.</text>

                <text>Introduction: Nursing documentation is an important aspect of the nursing&#13;
care workflow. Ineffective nursing documentation practices have been&#13;
reported to impact patient outcomes and health worker efficiency&#13;
negatively. Providing training for nurses will create positive attitudes and&#13;
improve nurses' knowledge of nursing documentation. This study aimed&#13;
to determine the effectiveness of documentation training based on SDKI,&#13;
SLKI, and SIKI (3S) in improving independent practice nurses'&#13;
documentation quality.&#13;
Methods: The research design used in this study was a pre-experiment with&#13;
a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The population consisted of&#13;
independent practice nurses, and a sample size of 63 nurses was recruited&#13;
using the total sampling technique. The instrument used is a checklist of&#13;
nursing care documentation. The data analysis test uses the calculation of&#13;
the Wilcoxon Paired test.&#13;
Results: The results showed that the quality of nursing documentation&#13;
before the intervention was in the less good category at 77.8%, and the&#13;
quality of documentation after the intervention was in the good category&#13;
at 70.3%. Wilcoxon test results show a p-value of 0.000, indicating an effect&#13;

independently. Children are free to do activities outside with fewer signs&#13;
of parental supervision and often eat unhealthy foods such as sweet snacks&#13;
or light meals. The problem of school children's nutrition is a double&#13;
burden; in addition to the issue of malnutrition, the problem of&#13;
overnutrition is increasing. This study aimed to identify differences in the&#13;
eating behavior of school children based on nutritional status.&#13;
Methods: The research design used a cross-sectional design. The research&#13;
subjects were 137 Pagerwojo Buduran Sidoarjo Elementary School&#13;
students who met the inclusion criteria. Eating behavior was measured&#13;
using the Children's Eating Behavior Questionnaire (CEBQ). Children's&#13;
nutritional status was assessed based on the weight-for-height indicator&#13;
(BW/TB) compared to the Z-score standard.&#13;
Results: The results showed that 71.5% of school-age children tended to&#13;
eat food approach. A total of 59.9% were in normal nutrition (Z-score&#13;
IMT/U). The mean value in the food avoidance dimension was highest in&#13;
thinness and lowest in obesity. Kruskal-Wallis test showed a difference in&#13;
the average score of approach behavior between the four categories of&#13;
children's nutritional status (p=0.027). There was a difference in the&#13;
average score of food avoidance behavior between the four categories of&#13;
children's nutritional status (0.007).&#13;
Conclusion: There are differences in eating behavior in children with&#13;
undernutrition, good nutrition, overnutrition, and obesity.</text>

enzymes and apples on the skin moisture of older adults. Eco-enzymes,&#13;

produced by fermenting organic materials, have a pH of 4-5. Apples contain&#13;
skin-beneficial compounds: fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and&#13;
phytonutrients. This research aimed to determine the impact of using this&#13;
soap on the moisture of older adults' skin.&#13;
Methods: A quasi-experimental pre-test/post-test design was used with a&#13;
treatment group (n=33) using the soap for 7 days and a control group&#13;
(n=33) receiving no intervention. The study was conducted on older adults&#13;
who met the inclusion criteria. Skin moisture was measured using a digital&#13;
skin analyzer and analyzed with a Wilcoxon test.&#13;
Results: The results indicated no significant effect of the soap on skin&#13;
moisture in either the treatment (p=0.063) or control (p=0.083) groups&#13;
(p&gt;0.05). The unexpected results were attributed to the short study&#13;
duration and extreme weather conditions at the mountain's base.&#13;
Conclusion: Given the challenging weather at the mountain's base, further&#13;
research is necessary, with adjustments to the soap formula, a more&#13;
extended research time, and a larger sample size.</text>

Methods: Literature searches were conducted through several databases,&#13;
including PubMed, Scopus, ProQuest, Science Direct, Oxford, ClinicalKey&#13;
Nursing, EBSCOhost, Springer Link, Taylor &amp; Francis, using predetermined&#13;
inclusion and exclusion criteria. The selected articles were analyzed based&#13;
on the intervention method. A total of 15 14,287 articles were extracted&#13;
and synthesized.&#13;
Results: 15 intervention articles were obtained showing that sexual&#13;
counselling effectively affects the sexuality of cancer patients and can be&#13;
carried out for patients and their partners face-to-face, by telephone, by&#13;
internet, or via WhatsApp.&#13;
Conclusion: Sexual counselling programs for cancer patients are effective&#13;
interventions for sexual problems in cancer patients.</text>

Assessment, Recommendation (ISBAR) checklist is a structured&#13;
communication tool designed to enhance handover quality but is&#13;
underutilized in written patient transfer. This study aimed to evaluate the&#13;
effectiveness of the ISBAR checklist in improving the quality of nurse&#13;
handovers during ED to HCU-ICU patient transfers.&#13;
Methods: A pre-experimental study with a one-group pre-posttest design&#13;
was conducted, in which ED nurses used the ISBAR checklist during patient&#13;
handovers. Forty HCU-ICU nurses assessed the quality of the ED nurse&#13;
handovers using the Handover Evaluation Scale (HES) questionnaire. A&#13;
paired sample t-test was used to analyze the differences in handover&#13;
quality before and after implementation.&#13;
Results: The ISBAR checklist significantly improved nurses’ handover&#13;
quality, with a p-value of 0.000 (p &lt; 0,05). The effectiveness of the ISBAR&#13;
checklist was analyzed using an N-gain score, resulting in a moderate&#13;
improvement level of 0.34 (0.3 ≤ g ≥ 0.7).&#13;
Conclusion: The ISBAR checklist is an effective tool for improving nurse&#13;
handover quality in patient transfers. Hospitals should adopt ISBAR as a&#13;
standardized handover protocol to enhance patient safety and continuity&#13;
of care and establish a minimally interruptive environment during&#13;
handover. Further research should explore long-term implementation and&#13;
integration into electronic health records.</text>

                <text>Introduction: Sexual communication between parents and adolescents&#13;
&#13;
positively impacts the prevention of premarital sexual behaviour. School-&#13;
based intervention is a promising approach. This review aims to identify&#13;
&#13;
school-based interventions that enhance parent-adolescent sexual&#13;
communication and assess the quality of the studies.&#13;
Methods: This literature review followed the PRISMA protocol. Four&#13;
databases—PubMed, ProQuest, Scopus, and Taylor &amp; Francis—were&#13;
searched using the keywords “adolescent,” “school-based intervention,”&#13;
&#13;
and “parent-adolescent communication.” Inclusion criteria were school-&#13;
based interventions targeting students and evaluating parent-adolescent&#13;
&#13;
sexual communication. Studies involving certain medical conditions and&#13;
LGBTQ groups were excluded.&#13;
Results: Eight studies were included from 3854 articles. Interventions&#13;
targeted students from sixth to 11th grade and involved parents. Various&#13;
methods were used, including lectures, group discussions, role plays,&#13;
demonstrations, and art-based activities. Some programs were integrated&#13;
into school subjects, while others utilized technology. Parental&#13;
involvement was facilitated through assignments that required&#13;
collaboration between students and their parents. Additionally, several&#13;
studies organized dedicated sessions or parenting classes for parents.&#13;
Conclusion: School-based interventions that involve parents and use&#13;
diverse delivery methods can effectively improve parent-adolescent sexual&#13;
communication. However, most studies were conducted in the United&#13;
States, several were over ten years old, and some had limited&#13;
methodological quality, which may affect the applicability of findings.&#13;
Schools are recommended to integrate reproductive health content,&#13;
especially that which fosters parent-adolescent sexual communication,&#13;
into existing curricula. Additionally, combining student and parent&#13;
education through joint assignments or organizing parenting classes may&#13;
enhance the impact of such interventions.</text>
