Pemanfaatan sumber daya alam, khususnya dari limbah pertanian, memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan produk fungsional karena limbah tersebut masih mengandung senyawa bioaktif yang bermanfaat. Bawang dikenal kaya akan kandungan fitokimia dan aktivitas antioksidan yang tinggi, dan kulit bawang diketahui mengandung kandungan fitokimia yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan bagian umbi bawang. Hal ini menyebabkan kulit bawang sangat berpotensi untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan fungsional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetapkan dan mengetahui kadar flavonoid dan aktivitas antioksidan dari kulit bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum) dan kulit bawang bombay (Allium cepa). Penetapan kadar flavonoid dilakukan dengan menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis metode kolorimetri, dan penetapan aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan microplate reader metode DPPH (2,2-difenil-1-pikrihidrazil). Penetapan aktivitas antioksidan sampel kulit bawang dilihat dari hasil uji secara kualitatif yang dinyatakan dalam nilai IC50 atau inhibition concentration. Berdasarkan hasil data penelitian, kulit bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum) memiliki rata-rata kandungan flavonoid sebesar 176,2472 mgQE/g dengan nilai IC50 sebesar 54,8949 ppm, dan kulit bawang bombay (Allium cepa) memiliki rata-rata kandungan flavonoid sebesar 207,5205 mgQE/g dengan nilai IC50 sebesar 46,2653 ppm. Isotoma longiflora diketahui mengandung senyawa bioaktif, namun keterlibatannya dalam mekanisme molekuler kanker prostat belum sepenuhnya dipahami. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi protein target senyawa Isotoma longiflora yang berhubungan dengan kanker prostat serta memprediksi jalur molekuler yang terlibat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi integrasi data target protein dari GeneCards, analisis Venn, pemetaan jaringan interaksi protein (PPI), klasterisasi, analisis Gene Ontology dan KEGG, serta molecular docking terhadap protein kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 21 protein tumpang tindih yang berpotensi menjadi target Isotoma longiflora, dengan ESR1, CDK2, dan CASP9 sebagai protein hub utama. Enrichment pathway mengungkap keterlibatan jalur androgen receptor, MAPK, PI3K–Akt, p53, serta metabolisme steroid yang relevan dengan progresi kanker prostat. Molecular docking menunjukkan senyawa seperti Peonidin 3-(6’’-acetyl)glucoside, lobellin, dan (-)- Gallocatechin-3-O-gallate memiliki afinitas ikatan kuat terhadap ESR1, CDK2, dan CASP9. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa Isotoma longiflora berpotensi sebagai kandidat sumber senyawa antikanker prostat melalui modulasi multi-target jalur proliferasi, apoptosis, dan inflamasi. Bacterial nanocellulose (BNC) muncul sebagai kandidat unggul berkat struktur nanofibril berpori, kemurnian tinggi, dan biokompatibilitas superior.
