caused by bones that protrude due to pressure, friction, and or a combination thereof. One of the actions
taken to prevent decubitus is to transfer bedding. The application of bed shifting requires motivation
and compliance from a nurse. Objective: Knowing the relationship between motivation and compliance
of nurses to perform bed rest transfer in decubitus prevention in the room of Intensive Care Unit &
Acute Stroke Care Research method: The research design applied a correlation analytic method.
Sampling with total sampling, sampling taken from 33 nurses. Motivation questionnaire was applied as
its measuring instrument which was tested for the validity and reliability with 26 statements and a
checklist sheet for compliance with bed rest transfer in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Results: The results of the study with the Kendall Tau test with a p value < α, namely 0.015 < 0.05 and
a correlation coefficients value of 0.429. Conclusion: There is a relationship between motivation and
nurses' compliance with bed rest transfer in decubitus prevention in the Intensive Care Unit and Acute
Stroke Care Room September 2023 with a moderate level of closeness. Suggestion: The results of this
study should be a reference and input for further research related to motivation and compliance.

<text>Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease in which the pancreas can no longer produce
insulin properly, this condition is a worldwide public health problem. Adherence to medication therapy
is a positive behaviour. One of the key factors in achieving behaviour change is self-efficacy. The results
of a research study conducted by researchers in April 2023 at Ngesti Waluyo Christian Hospital, on 10
patients with DM. A total of 7 people said they were lazy to take DM medication regularly, 3 people
said they often forgot to take DM medication. Research Objective: To determine the relationship
between self-efficacy of DM patients and adherence to taking medication in the male-only Gladiolus
ward of Ngesti Waluyo Christian Hospital. Methods: Descriptive correlation cross sectional research
method, sample 30 respondents with purposive sampling of DM patients, using MMAS-8 questionnaire
and DMSES-UK questionnaire.Data analysis using Kendall's tau test, with frequency distribution.
Results: the most age in the adult category (60%), all respondents were male (100%), the most high
school education (36.7%), self efficacy in the moderate category (56.7%), the level of compliance in the
non-compliant category (83.3%).significance value of 0.037 <0.050. The correlation coefficient
between variables is 0.370, it can be concluded that the relationship between self-efficacy of DM

patients and medication adherence is "moderate". Conclusion: There is a relationship between self-
efficacy of DM patients and medication adherence. Suggestion: Develop further research between self

efficacy of DM patients and medication adherence to DM patients so as to reduce the incidence of DM.

<text>The high prevalence of sexually transmitted disease infections is related to the practice of preventive
behavior that is still very low. Adolescence is very closely related to psychological development in the
puberty period and is accompanied by sexual development. Cases of syphilis and gonorrhea are most
common in adolescents and young adults. Effective communication between parents and adolescents
is used as the main strategy in an effort to increase responsible sexual behavior and minimize risky
sexual behavior in adolescents. The research method used was a correlation analytical description
research design with a cross sectional approach with 79 research samples. The sampling method is
using the Probability Sampling technique by means of Random Sampling. The analysis test used was
the Pearson Test with a significance level of p < 0.005. The results of the study were obtained from the
Relationship of Parental Communication to Knowledge of Sexually Transmitted Diseases in Students
with a significance value of 0.001 (p value < 0.005) with a correlation value (r) of 0.778 which means
a positive correlation with a strong correlation power. Parents have a big role in growth and
development, in children's behavior facing puberty, and it is important for parents to build
communication with children. Communication between parents and adolescents is a form of parenting
process that has an important influence on adolescent sexual behavior.

presentasi sebanyak 67,3%.

patient may perceive as a threat to his or her role in life, body integrity, or even life itself.
Anxiety can be overcome by using relaxation techniques, one of which is progressive
muscle relaxation, because it can suppress the sympathetic nerves which can reciprocally
suppress the feeling of tension experienced by the individual, resulting in counter
conditioning (elimination). Main Symptoms: tense appearance, difficulty sleeping,
trembling voice, cold sweat on both palms and feet, frequent urination, Hamilton Anxiety
Rating Scale (HARS): 17. Therapeutic intervention: Progressive muscle relaxation therapy
with 14 movements carried out for 20 minutes. Outcome: Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale
(HARS): 11, Concentration improves, sleeps well, muscle tension appears to decrease,
speech is clear without shaking, No cold sweat on palms and feet, blood pressure
measurement 120/70 mmHg. Conclusion: Anxiety can be overcome by using progressive

fat and protein metabolism caused by decreased insulin secretion or decreased insulin sensitivity
or both and causes complications, one of which is diabetic ulcers. Diabetic ulcers are infections,
ulcers and destruction of skin tissue on the feet of people with diabetes mellitus caused by nerve
abnormalities and damage to peripheral arteries. The approach used is a case report which aims
to explore and discuss cases of DM with diabetic ulcers. The main complaints found were pain in
the wound, swelling, pus and necrotic tissue. The nurse's independent action is to carry out wound
care to maintain wound cleanliness and tissue repair. The treatment carried out showed that the
wound was still wet, there was necrotic tissue, there was pus, the leg still looked swollen and red.
