Abstract- The role of sterilizers at the Puskesmas Imogiri-2 and Banguntapan-1 Dinkes Kabupaten Bantul is very
strategic towards the level of sterile instruments and equipment at the puskesmas. Therefore, in order for sterilizers to
function, maintenance and continuous function should be carried out. From the results of the situation analysis in the
partner's environment, the problem can be formulated, namely the presence of sterilisator equipment that is very
potential but not supported by competent human resources (HR) so that the tool has not been properly managed in
terms of monitoring functions, maintenance, repair and storage.
The implementation of the community partnership program at Imogiri-2 and Banguntapan-1 Puskesmas aims to
maintain and carry out the functions of sterilizer equipment and provide guidance to officers in carrying out simple
services and maintenance of sterilizers in accordance with SOPs. The implementation of this activity is carried out in
6 sterilizer units carrying out functional and maintenance exercises as well as analyzing before and after the
maintenance is carried out then the performance examiners of the tools and officers are carried out. From the
evaluation results that determine the performance of 3 (three) dry sterilizer units and 3 (two) autoclave units as well
as the understanding and skills in accordance with the SOP at Imogiri-2 Puskesmas and Banguntapan-1 Puskesmas.
