Based on the Indonesian Health Profile in 2020, data on the maternal mortality rate in NTT Province in 2018 was 141/100,000 live birth, and in 2019 it decreased to 118/100,000 live birth with the most causes of death including haemorarge, hypertension and infection. This significant decrease in maternal mortality has not been supported by data on K4 coverage which tends to decrease.
