Background: People's behavior that has not been maximized in the application of health protocols, can pose a risk of spreading the corona virus and the incidence of transmission is getting higher, so there is a need for preventive and promotive efforts through Mentoring in the application of health protocols with 5 M in the New Era of the COVID-19. Objective: Increase efforts to prevent and control COVID-19 for people in the Magelang City area (North Kramat District) in the new life order by implementing the 5 M. Methods: This activity uses survey methods, observation and field practice in providing health education and behavior promotion regarding the application of health protocols, installing hand washing stations in residents' homes, practical assistance on how to wash hands and how to wear masks correctly and ends with an evaluation of behavioral practices. people to live clean and healthy in preventing the transmission of COVID-19. Results: The results of this Community dedication show that there is an understanding of information related to the application of health protocols with the application of 5 M, after mentoring there is an increase in community skills regarding the practice of implementing health protocols. The territorial zone is maintained in the green zone. Conclusion: To increase public awareness of the application of health protocols in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to knowledge, it is necessary to provide assistance on direct practice regarding techniques for wearing masks, washing hands, implementing social distancing whenever there are activities, so as to change behavior to increase awareness. prevention of virus transmission in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.
