Blood pressure is a measure that can determine how strong the heart is to pump blood throughout the body. Blood pressure is also the force or push of blood against artery walls when blood is pumped out of the heart throughout the body. This force maintains the flow of blood in the arteries to keep it smooth. Average normal blood pressure is usually 120/80 and is measured in millimeters of mercury (mmHg). This study aims to determine the relationship between hot and cold cappuccino coffee consumption on the increase in blood pressure in adolescent girls at the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health Semarang Kendal campus, which was carried out on September 25 -September 30, 2021 by 30 respondents with purposive sampling. The method in this research is observational analytic with cross sectional research design. The sampling technique was carried out with a total sample of 30 respondents with 15 respondents drinking hot cappuccino coffee and 15 other respondents drinking cold cappuccino coffee. The measuring instrument for coffee consumption is in the form of a questionnaire conducted by filling open and closed questionnaires. The results found that there was a relationship between hot and cold cappuccino coffee consumption with increasing blood pressure in adolescent girls at the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health, Semarang Kendal campus with respondents who did not have a history of high blood pressure and were not heavy coffee drinkers as many as 10 (67%) respondents with hot cappuccino coffee experienced an increase in blood pressure. blood pressure and 10 (67%) respondents with cold cappuccino coffee experienced an increase in blood pressure.
