The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic still feels the
same today, WHO and the government are still trying to fight the spread and control of COVID-19 by limiting community activities. One of the efforts made by urging employees to work from home, both government employees and private employees. The WFH policy or work from home or working from home for employees is not easy to do, especially for employees who already have families. balancing work and life (work-life balance) is not easy to do because there are two different roles plus the desire to achieve work and family goals
at the same time. The employee will experience many obstacles and challenges both from the employee’s own internal and external self. So employees need strong motivation and high enthusiasm to be able to go through it all so that career commitment (Career Commitment) can still be achieved even during the COVID-19 condition which has many limitations and obstacles to activities and socializing. The purpose of this study is to find out how effective the WFH (work from home) policy is for employees who are already
married, and whether they are able to make a balance of life and achieve goals between work and family well. The object of this research, employees who are married and carry out work from home during the Covid-19 pandemic with a total of 126 respondents. Data was processed using IBM SPSS Statistics 24 and AMOS ver. This study uses a single composite indicator because the initial model fit test produces abnormal results, so to obtain better results, a single composite
score SEM (Structural Equation Model) is chosen
because scientifically and theoretically it is allowed. The results of this study prove that employees who do WFH (work from home) have a positive influence on work-family goals attainment and work-life balance and work-life balance has an influence on career commitment although there is one hypothesis that is rejected, namely work and family. goal attainment has no effect on career commitment, this is because most of the respondents in this study are well-established
employees so that they have a high career commitment, as a result, achieving goals towards work and family is either neglected or neglected.
