Description

This study aims to determine the role of promotion in increasing sales of Medical
Devices at PO Almedika with the concept of Sharia Marketing. This research use
desciptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with the method of
observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using Spradley model
analysis with 4 stages, namely domain analysis, taxonomy, componential and
cultural themes. The results of this study are the role of promotion is very reliable
in increasing sales of medical devices and proven management so that sales from
April to May experienced a significant increase. Sharia marketing in promotion
and sales is carried out in accordance with sharia so that many consumers are
interested in the products marketed by PO Almedika. The marketing target is at
places selling medical products such as pharmacies and other health services. In
practice, PO Almedika still has problems, including: sometimes the large number
of requests from consumers makes the desired item out of stock so that the main
distributor who is a business partner sometimes also runs out so that the PO
Almedika is not ready stock. Efforts are being made to resolve the issue, namely at
this time PO Almedika if the main distributor who is a business partner is also out
of stock, then to work around this by taking goods from other distributors to meet
customer demands.
