can be done in reducing thirst and improving sleep quality are gargling therapy to reduce thirst, and
chamomile aromatherapy therapy to improve sleep quality. Patients with chronic renal failure who
experience dry mouth and lips due to fluid restriction and also complaints of insomnia at night. The
research design used descriptive quantitative sampling technique with a total sample of one person. The
interventions carried out were warm water gargling which was carried out for 30 seconds with 25cc of
warm water and chamomile aromatherap which was given for 15 minutes, the assessment was carried out
using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and the PSQI questionnaire. The results of the intervention for two
times obtained a change in thirst from severe thirst to moderate thirst and no change in the patient's sleep
quality remained with a score of 14 (poor sleep quality).Suggestions for room nurses because there is a
decrease in thirst with warm water gargling and improved sleep quality with chamomile aromatherapy,
therefore warm water gargling therapy and chamomile aromatherapy can be applied in hospitals as a
nurse's independent action in chronic renal failure patients with thirst problems.

<text>Background of the study: The highest cause of death in PTM cases is cardiovascular disease where one-
third are cases of hypertension. DIY ranks third with a prevalence of 21.78%. The implementation of

the prevention of hypertension carried out by health cadres is greatly influenced by the self-efficacy of
health cadres. Researchers found that three out of five cadres interviewed said that experience and
training could increase their confidence in carrying out hypertension screening. Methodology of the
study: This was a quantitative descriptive design. The population was 40 health cadres using a total
sampling technique. The analysis used was univariate. Measuring health cadres' self-efficacy was done
using general Self-efficacy which had been modified, with validity test results moving from 0.590-0.889,
while the Alpha Cronbach reliability value was 0.886. Result of the study: The result of the frequency
distribution showed that health cadres in preventing hypertension in Kotabaru Village in 2023 had high
self-efficacy as much as 45%, while 55% was moderate and none was poor. Conclusion: The description
of the self-efficacy of health cadres in preventing hypertension in Kotabaru in 2023 mostly had moderate
self-efficacy. Suggestion: It is hoped that further researchers will examine the relationship and role of
the family in increasing the self-efficacy of health cadres in the prevention of hypertension as NCD and
factors that affect high self-efficacy, especially in health cadres.

<text>Background:Diarrhea is a common disease that causes a mortality rate of 3.5% in 2022 and can cause various
serious complications. At UPT Puskesmas Tempel II, diarrhea ranks 5th in the top 10 diseases, increasing cases
from 432 in 2022 to 550 in 2024, community participation in the control program is still low. Objective:To
determine the relationship between PHBS and diarrhea prevention behavior in the Batang Gede Tambakrejo
Tempel area in 2024. Method:Analytical research with a cross-sectional approach to this study to avoid bias from
the results of PHBS measurements on diarrhea prevention behavior so that data is taken simultaneously to
minimize inaccuracies in research results. Research Results:The largest age category is late adulthood with 11
people(34.4%),Female gender with 17 people(53.1%),Last education high school/vocational high school 25
people (78.1%), Private employees 14 people (43.8%), The largest marital status is married with 26 people
(81.3%). PHBS with the largest percentage is Good with 17 people (53.1%), Diarrhea prevention behavior with
the largest percentage is Sufficient with 16 people(50.0%),There is a significant relationship between the PHBS
variable (clean and healthy living behavior) and diarrhea prevention behavior with a significance value (Sig. 2-
tailed) of 0.042.The correlation coefficient between PHBS and Diarrhea Prevention Behavior is 0.362, with a
significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.042.Indicates that there is a positive correlation that is sufficient but
significant between the two variables. Conclusion:The correlation coefficient between PHBS and Diarrhea
Prevention Behavior shows that there is a positive correlation that is sufficient but significant between the two
variables.Suggestion:The community needs to participate and invite families to be active in health programs and
the implementation of PHBS through education using social media and posters to disseminate information to
reduce the risk of spreading disease.

effectively. In the framework of carrying out formative, restorative, and normative tasks, the chief
executive nurse, who is the head of the room, performs nursing supervision, a professional nursing task.
Different opinions about the use of nurses are raised by the oversight system at Mardi Waluyo Hospital.
Finding out how nurses feel about the introduction of supervision in the inpatient room at Mardi Waluyo
Hospital Metro Lampung in 2024 is the goal of this study. With a sample of 80 respondents, a descriptive
quantitative research design with univariate data analysis was employed. A questionnaire was utilized
as the measuring tool. Findings from the study of 80 respondents revealed that the majority of gender
characteristics were as follows: 51 people (63.7%) were women, 35 people (42.5%) were between the
ages of 20 and 35, 53 people (66.3%) had the most recent education of DIII, and 55 people (68.8%) had
worked for more than five years. Out of 80 respondents, 40 (50.0%), 26 (32.5%), and fewer than 14
(17.5%) fell into the sufficient category when it came to the description of nurses' impressions of
supervision. The application of supervision in the Mardi Waluyo Metro Hospital inpatient room is seen
favorably by the majority of responders. Supervisors can enhance the quality of supervision execution
by following the job descriptions and SOP established by Mardi Waluyo Metro Lampung Hospital.

<text>Introduction: Surgery is one of the causes of anxiety in patients who are about to undergo surgery.
Excessive anxiety experienced certainly has a negative impact on patients before and after undergoing
surgery. Method: This study used a case report method. Measurement of anxiety levels was carried out
twice, namely before and after intervention using APAIS. The researcher provided a 15-minute music
relaxation therapy intervention to Mrs. E before surgery. The music used was Christian spiritual songs
that had been agreed upon with the patient before the intervention. Results: There was a decrease in
anxiety levels after the administration of music relaxation therapy, namely very severe anxiety (APAIS
score 26) to severe anxiety (APAIS score 20). A decrease occurred in the patient's vital signs, namely
blood pressure, pulse rate and pulse. Conclusion: Music relaxation therapy can be used as an
alternative therapy to reduce anxiety in patients before surgery.

<text>Background: He number of non-hemorrhagic stroke cases at Emanuel Hospital showed a high
preference, from January to October 2024 there were 390. Non-hemorrhagic stroke patients often
experience immobility which increases the risk of pressure sores, making it important to implement
preventive interventions such as effleurage massage with olive oil. Main Symptoms: The patient was
58 years old with a diagnosis of non-hemorrhagic stroke, had haemiparesis on the left side of the body,
aphasia, movement coordination difficulties. Blood pressure was high (160/100 mmHg), Braden scale
result showed high risk of pressure sores (score 10). Methods: This type of research is descriptive with
a case study design. The samples were non-hemorrhagic stroke patients. The intervention was
effleurage massage using olive oil against pressure sores. Measurement of pressure sore risk using
the Braden scale and periodic monitoring of the patient's skin condition. Results: After the application
of effleurage massage with olive oil for 6 days, the patient showed positive results. The previously
identified high risk of pressure sores decreased, which was noted on the post-intervention Braden
Scale measurement. Conclusion: The application of effleurage massage using olive oil is effective in
the treatment of stroke patients with limited mobility, helping to maintain skin integrity and prevent
further complications such as pressure sores. Suggestion: Patients can continue the intervention
independently with the help of family members and change body position every 2 hours.

<text>Background: A problem that often arises in patients who are attached to an endotracheal tube is the
clearing of the airway due to the accumulation of sputum or foreign objects in the airway. Most of the
patients who are treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) room experience respiratory failure and then
are attached to an endotracheal tube for a long period of time and often experience complications, one
of which is increased sputum. Thus, the measures that can be taken are a combination of nebulizers and
non-pharmacological actions of chest physiotherapy with suction which has the effect of releasing
phlegm and can clear the airway. Main symptoms: patients with respiratory failure accompanied by
additional ronchi breathing sounds in both lung lobes are heard, there is sputum in the circuit.
Therapeutic intervention: the administration of the nebulizer is carried out for 15 minutes, then for chest
physiotherapy it is carried out for 10 minutes using the clapping technique simultaneously with the
nebulizer, then paused and suction is performed for 15 seconds, this intervention is carried out for three
consecutive days. Outcome: after intervention during the day, it is expected to reduce sputum
production. Conclusion: There is an increase in oxygen saturation and a decrease in sputum production
after a combination of nebulizer and chest physiotherapy with open suction.

kidney function, causing accumulation of urea and creatinine and a decrease in GFR to
around 60 ml/minute/1.73 m2. Objective: Able to carry out comprehensive nursing care for
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients with hypervolemia nursing problems at the
Yogyakarta Regional Private Hospital. Method: This case study is a case report taken
through a series of nursing processes in the form of assessment, formulating nursing
problems, planning interventions, implementing interventions and finally carrying out
nursing assessments. Results: Researchers show that hypertension and diabetes are the
main causes of CKD. Case studies explain that patients with CKD usually experience
swelling or edema and the nursing problem of hypervolemia. Conclusion: After providing
nursing intervention, for this diagnosis, the author has provided intervention by educating
patients and families about CKD, fluid restrictions and diet for CKD sufferers. With the
results of the evaluation, patients and families have understood and demonstrated CKD,
fluid restrictions and the diet of CKD sufferers.
