Description

Introduction: Hypertension is a chronic disease with an increase in arterial blood
pressure above 140/90 mmHg. Research Method: A case study (case report) was
conducted on 18-20 November 2024. The number of samples in this case report was
1 hypertensive patient. The instrument in this final scientific work is the Numerical
Rating Scale (NRS). Results: Researchers provided nursing intervention using the
SSBM technique, the intervention was carried out on November 19 and 20 2024
according to the SOP for 5 minutes with the results obtained before the SSBM was
carried out on a pain scale of 4 and after the action was carried out a scale of 3
(mild pain). Conclusion: SSBM therapy can reduce the pain scale in hypertensive
patients. Suggestion: SSBM therapy is carried out if you experience pain.
