UTILIZATION OF VIDEO ONE HUSBAND ONE CLIENT (OH-OC) FOR INCREASING PREGNANT WOMEN’S HUSBAND ATTITUDE IN SUPPORTING FE CONSUMPTION

Attitude: Anemia: Video

Pregnant women need twice as much iron to meet the mother's need and the growth of the fetus. Anemia in pregnant women can be overcome by consuming iron tablets. However, the compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets is still low. The attitude of pregnant women can stimulate compliance. A good attitude can be stimulated by sound knowledge. Knowledge of pregnant women can be obtained from health education provided by health workers. Pregnant women who get mentoring are more obedient in consuming Fe tablets. This research was conducted in Tanjungpinang City from April to July 2019. The population was all husbands of pregnant women who consume iron tablets at the Independent Midwife Practice in Tanjungpinang City. The sampling technique used the Non-Probability Sampling-Purposive Sampling. Data analysis used Wilcoxon. There was no statistically significant difference in attitude between pregnant women who were given OH-OC videos and pregnant women who were not given OH-OC videos with a p-value > 0.05 (0.298). However, there was an increase in positive attitudes in the treatment group, which was more significant than in the control group
