Description

Cases of pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency in Central Mamuju are still increasing, that pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency are an indirect factor in maternal mortality. Efforts that can be made to meet adequate nutritional intake to overcome Chronic Energy Deficiency are by providing additional local recovery food in the form of Pacalor. The form of additional energy can be in the form of providing additional recovery food for pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency (Kemenkes RI, 2015 in Nanik & Yuliana, 2019). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of supplementary feeding on the recovery of Pacalor on the increase in LILA for pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency in the Durikumba Health Center Work Area, Kec. Karossa Kab. Central Mamuju. This research was conducted in the working area of the Durikumba Health Center, Kec. Karossa Kab. Central Mamuju. This research uses a quasi-experimental research design with pretest-posttest
with control group design. The study population was all pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency who made a pregnancy visit in the work area of the Durikumba Health Center, Karossa District. The sampling technique is using purposive sampling. All samples will be examined by LILA using LILA tape and observation sheets. The results showed that there was a relationship between giving Pacalor supplementary food to increasing
LILA for pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency. With p value < 0.05. The results of this study are expected to be able to assess the nutritional status of pregnant women related to an increase in LILA for pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency.
