STUDI KUALITATIF DINAMIKA RESILIENSI REMAJA DALAM MENGHADAPI TRUST ISSUES PADA MAHASISWA KEPERAWATAN

Resiliensi; Broken Home; Trust Issues

Background: Many situations fall into the category of resilience, one of which is parental divorce. When
bad parental relationships continue after divorce, not only father and mother, but children also
experience major changes in their lives. Objective: To determine the dynamics of resilience among
broken home teenagers in dealing with trust issues among students at a health sciences high school in
Yogyakarta in 2024. Method: This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The
participant selection method was carried out using a purposive sampling design according to
predetermined inclusion criteria. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews with five
participants. Research results: From 5 participants, 104 codes and 13 categories were obtained, four
themes were then raised, experiences of teenagers facing situations of family breakdown with social and
psychological impacts, dynamics of emotional responses of teenagers facing situations of family
breakdown with trust issues, emotional support, resilience of teenagers facing situations of family
breakdown with trust issues towards oneself and society. Conclusion: Adolescents with resilience are
able to adapt to the psychological and social problems experienced by adolescents today because they
learn from the family breakdown situations they experience.
