Description
Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is the inability of the heart to pump enough blood throughout the body. Some of the symptoms that have been mentioned, one symptom that many complain about is foot edema. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of foot massage on edema circumference changes on the feet of Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) patients in the ICCU room at M. Yunus Bengkulu Hospital in 2020. The research design was a Quasi Experiment using the Non-equivalent Control Group Design. This study measured the edema circumference of respondents at ankle circumference. The analysis technique used in this study were the Wilcoxon Test and the Mann-Whitney Test. The results showed that the average leg circumference edema after being given a foot massage decreased compared to before being given a foot massage. The analysis showed that there were significant differences circumference of edema in the legs before and after given a foot massage.
